I love H mart! All the cool food

But you know, Slaveway & Albertsons carry rice paper in the Asian sections. I was to like the Korean BBQ place across from H mart and the smell there is wonderful.
You grill your own food at the middle of your table. YUM.
Before H amrt, I use to go to Paldo World. Good as well, but my fav place in Fed Way is Daiso.
It is inside the commons and it sells thing from japan...all items are $1.50

Love it.
I use to stay next to Wild Waves. lol.

I used to go to the asian market in San Francisco...and could not really understand what I was buying, but great fresh fish, and big bags of rice and various packaged dried Nori (I love Nori) and rice paper tortillas.
I have some, this time from Iwagimaya..Love that store!
Do not get ther often as it is sooo far from here, but have a sister married to a Japanese man, and they do Iwagimaya alot, and pick stuff up for me.

I live in Japan for 3 years when I was in my early 20's I went there and cried I didnt like fish or anything like what they had for food. Well let me tell you that changed so fast, Id go to the food stands on the street and just start trying things. A few very few did I not like, when I met a girl and took her to my fav place and told her she needed to try this stuff she just looked at me and than told me what Id been eating.. Ok I thought to myself stop you have been eating this for months now and you like it. So I didnt let her get into my head.. Oh how I miss it over there life was simple and good... It breaks my heart to see whats going on over there now, I can hardly breath when I read about it or see it on the news... They have great sking over there did you know that?

Yes--I'm sure it would be fine with her.. when I told her I was thinking like 15 chickens--she was like 50? I said no, 15. And she was like as in 1-5? LOL

Maybe you can I can split an order of 50 and split shipping? I am thinking that if you and I both helped I'm sure we could fly though em pretty quick! I was thinking though about ordering in mid-summer and then butchering in early fall? That way, I wouldn't be 8-9 months pregnant and it wouldn't be 100 degrees outside. I would have had the baby already and been recovered and ready! LOL

Edited to add--I'll have some cull Creves by then and maybe some RIR roos to do, too...and as far as keeping them at your place...okay...but we'd have to work out something on the feed...not sure how that would work...

Aren't you cute? You have no idea about how long it will be after the baby is born before your life resembles normal.

I wouldnt hand her the knife that is for sure.

I am thinking the same thing..maybe 25-30 cornish..so I been looking and really wish someone had a plucker we could pass around...rent it, ya know that would be great, pay for itself...

I know....apparently, my friend and her DH skin them. They hate the plucking part. The ones I've seen on youtube and stuff look really neat and take like 10 seconds to clean a bird after a good scald.

Poor Heather...I didn't want to pop your bubble....I was just excited about the freezer birds. I figured I would talk with you later and see if you are truly up to it or not.

I want to do this too, but cant do the dirty deed.

It's more the sleep deprivation issues, and the baby needing pretty much constant attention when awake, and needing to get everything else done while he/she is asleep.

oh how time flies

Crazy!!! I grew up on 1st ave in Redondo!! I would jog north on the waterfront then up Redondo Way(I think it's called) then down Dash Point road back to 1st ave down to the water & home!I used to love jogging! I went to school at Sacajawea & Fed Way High!!

I would still jog but the ice keeps falling out of my glass!!!
