MotherEarth mag is what got me started on ducks in the first place.

I was just a happy gardener before I saw that magazine starring at me at PCC.
Now the ducks had me convert my garden to their duck run thru subliminal messages and secret messages hidden in their eggs.
I now have to build me another garden PRONTO in the pouring rain so my vege starts have a place to go before they grow into the florescent light tubes.

Cute ducks...evil magazine.

Yes! For all who are interested!
I am bringing 20 sedum starts, 20 avens starts, and 20 hardy geranium starts. I also scrounged up 2 tricolor lace-capped hydrangeas and 2 of the deep purple butterfly bushes(my plants had layered) I had to fight to get the butterfly bushes out so I hope they make it.
I know CR had asked about the butterfly bushes for his bees so I might give him first dibs on one. There was another guy that wanted them also but I can't remember who...if your out there, jog my memory and I'll save it for you!

Remember the Inaugural Day storm that washed out the roadway? It was our sailboat that broke free from it's buoy and got tied up to the fishing pier! It was in the paper and tons of people stood on the pier watching while my Dad shimmied onto the boat to get a couple things till the fire department made him get off! It was CRAZY!!!! However, the boat was fine and we had it many more years!

I used to get off the school bus in front of Salty's restaurant. I would go sit inside and have a bowl of chowder and do my homework! Sounds spoiled but I wasn't! I worked for my own money. I just LOVE food!!!!

I do remember the inaugural day storm. They put in the boardwalk because that storm destroyed part of the sea wall and road.
