But I'll bet she looks pretty!

She does but she was NOT happy. Neither was my DH. Of course, when he comes home, she escapes the towel and goes sprinting across the livingroom.

Isn't that fun?

Okay, DD and I are considering getting into the showing aspect of chickens....note to self....might want to not consider white chickens (even though I love the ones that RFF has).

Go with bantams!!! Easier to house, cheaper to feed, MUCH easier to wash and pack in the car! LOL

I consider this the lowest of lows. That is absolutely awful. Your son is hurting so much right now and is feeling so....(can't think of the word)....but his trust and feelings have been crushed by this man who says he loves him. whenever my DH made a SINGLE comment about paying child support for his son (my step-son who is now 22)...I reminded him that she (mom) may not live the life-style that DH likes, but kid has a roof over his head and clothes on his back and food on the table....and my DH needs to help provide for that...because this is his child.

Hopefully, your ex-hubby comes around and realizes what damage he has done and also what he will miss by cutting his son out of his life.

My son is just being an "applesauce"....of the highest level. My DS problem is that somehow he is feeling entitled and I hate to break it to him....that money in the bank....MINE....that car outside...MINE.....the room you are sleeping in ....MINE....the food you eat everyday...MINE. My kid is a good kid....he just needs a slap of reality....he needs to move out, but even though he is almost 18, he is not graduated...will be a senior next year.

I see that sense of entitlement too with my DS. I try to remind him that It doesn't just appear out of thin air or magic, We(my husband & I) work very hard to provide a good life for all of us. You know that four letter wour WORK? My kids just don't understand the true meaning yet. But we will get there......someday.

We only have 4 dutch overs and 9 lodge skillets of different sizes and shapes, we are a long ways from having a full set.

Griswold's are the best and I have flat skillets, fryers, stew pots and dutch ovens.. I think I even have a full set still in box of dutch ovens... have not needed them in a long while.

I had to Google Griswold cast Iron, I have never heard of it. Very interesting.
