I am a pet owner that has made the choice of breeding my male and female pets. I shouldn't have to worry about being lumped into the puppy mill group. I have definite desire to improve the type and breed of my puppies. I choose to breed more for temperament, and I have had to deal with a wonderful vet that would not put down a dog that was poorly bred, and had a very bad temperament.

I still feel bad that I dumped the dog on craigslist. I did a full discloser on her. She hated nearly all people and hated my other female Yorkie, and she wanted to kill the chicks in the brooder. She was a very unpleasant dog. I hate the fact that the only way I could make her leave my home was craigslist. I had wanted her to live with forever at first. I worry that she will be placed from home to home. I would have rather had her put down. At least I would have known what happened to her. She came to me at 8 weeks old. I still grieve for the puppy, and all then promise that she represented. I don't understand why she became so nasty and evil. She had never been abused. But in the end she should have been put down, rather than the other options.

I have done rescue, and at least most of the time you can blame the owner. Most dogs can be rehabbed and placed into the right environment. I have never had a dog like that dog. I do know now that I shouldn't have bred her. I am still learning. I just want the breed to be healthy and have a stable personality. It is not right to breed for the smallest dog. The dogs need to be healthy first. On the other hand without her, we wouldn't have my daughters dog. He is the cutest dog on Facebook. His name is Reeses Rombouts.

That would be Kaz, (the wife), and Anders (the Husband) A pleasure to have met you as well. Rare Feathers also spoils her chickens by the way, Waldo the Orloff we took has the same issues with people as well, he thinks he's a people.

I'm glad you like him and you're getting him to behave!

He was such a little punk! He probably will be much more happy with some "women" of his own...he may have had some "frustration" he needed to take out!

Stevenson is 135 miles from Yakima. Stevenson is in the Cascade Mountain Range, but on the Columbia River. So from Yakima you go down through Goldendale on Hwy 97 until you meet Hwy 14. You can't miss Hwy 14 without getting very wet or crossing a bridge. Just turn right and head west. Don't cross any bridge. The scenic route is Goldendale and take Hwy 142 and you will go through the town of Klickitat. That Hwy pops out in White Salmon, and once again head West. That is the same distance as Hwy 97. If you do end up in Oregon then take I-84 west to Cascade Locks, and then go over the Bridges of the Gods bridge. That is 153 miles. But it maybe slightly faster, because that is a real freeway.

Soooo.. we must have missed the date? when is this going to take place?

Saturday at 6pm
Look for the table with the BLUE DUCK EGG

Okay I have read more posts, so the very secret cult meeting is this Saturday at 6 pm. I may be able to talk my BiL and SiL into coming with me. My SiL has hatchitus much worse than me.

But now that she has her new Brinsea, I can get my bator back from her. There may be no way of stopping me once I get it back. I do seem to have eggs scattered all over South King County though.

I had to send my 6 blue eggs to the SiL's Brinsea. I wasn't sure that I could get any of my other bators working by tomorrow.

Oh oh I think that I missed going to bed at a reasonable time. I did though get most of the floors clean enough to walk on with bare feet. That is something that hasn't been done for a week or so.

I think I hate puppies. I also got the sheets changed on my bed, so that meant that I had to wash 7 nasty little dogs. I don't think that they are all that happy with me.

I really don't care. Wait till tomorrow when I pull out the hair brushes. It will be a lot of fun.

I think I have some pictures on my camera of birds at the show. I will have to look at what my SiL took picture of and I will try to post them if there is anything good on the sd card. I will have to get pictures of the BCM that I got at the show, plus the 2 frizzles that I picked up at the feed store.

Well it's still dark outside so I am going to go to bed now. The night shift is over.

We got chicken math bad here. At first my DH said 2 and I said 3 then streatched to 4 with the 2 silkies. My DH went to feed store on his way home. He called me before going in asked If we were just getting one to replace the one we lost or if we could get 2.

We now have 4 silkies 2 barred rocks and 2 EE. Got to change my signature again.
