Hey, no fair...I am not gonna get to come and there is loads of food, Yum....LOL.
BTW: When one invites an entire crowd and you are going to feed them - Other than the close friends like CL, whom you know has food issues - if they are invited guests....TOUGH if they don't like....you are going out of your way to offer them a good meal. They had better use their manners. Camp food, yum. I have a beautiful, big cast iron dutch oven on legs with convex (I think this correct - bent in) lid that i use over the camp fire...cook almost anything and everthing in it....gravy, peach cobbler, bisuits, stew, etc, etc, etc.

NO NO NO just to make it clear I am NOT planning to do this. It was just a passing thought. And IF I did I would of course need to ask for help covering the cost. That is the way I do it when we are at the dunes. I plan a menu and everybody pitches in some $$. Keep in mind very few of us have our DW's along. So these guys would live on doughnuts and lunchables.

That doesn't work for DW and I want real food.

I would kick in food and help. Let me know what you would need help with.

It's good to know I am not alone with the concept.

The times he's gotten loose, he actually wanders on up to our porch / front door. It is hilarious, you walk out here, and hello, there's a Yak at the door.

I think that a yak at the door must be good for the soul. But 2 or 3 yaks at the door must be much much better for the soul.

If you are interested Rainwolf has a good supplier of feed. You may want to check it out. http://patriotfarmandbison.com/ If interested contact Rainwolf on here and she can tell you order details.

Speaking of Patriot Farms, does anyone have the number of the contact in Pacific for some of the layer feed? I need a few bags for myself and my gf's birds. She put a call in to Scott and didn't get a return call, but had tried a bag last time and her birds seemed pretty happy with it!

I have the phone number for Pacific. PM me for the number.
