It probably saw something shiny and is clinging to the ceiling. Did you check the ceiling???

Yes, we checked everywhere. Including the adjoining coops and runs. I think she must have slipped out Saturday when DD was getting a different bird out of that coop for the day, either when she took her out or put her back in. I have no other ideas about where she could be!

You take it easy on your coast over there. Everyone batton down the hatches and get out the generators. Weather here is doing well. Little windy, enough to blow the "sail" on my bell from CR....Love listening to it.

We can't lose power!!!! I have freaking ducklings in a bator for crimeny sakes!!!!

If this doesn't work out for me I may never do this again!! I'm not a very patient person and this is trying my limit!

Ok a muscle relaxer, vicoden & bedtime tea. I'm heading to bed. Hope this concoction works and tomorrow is a better day.

If the power goes out I think I have a big enough "over the shoulder boulder holder" to incubate 13 duck eggs!!!

Or maybe I will just put them in bed under my goose down comforter with me and just stay there for the next 20 days!

Doesn't sound so bad right now!

When we candled them on Thursday they had the spider thing with the heartbeat. Now there is just lots and lots of veins & 1/4 of the eggs is clear. I'm assuming the airsack thing.
