Oh my I have had many thoughts about what kind of prints that I really want, and I have alway been frustrated that I couldn't find what I wanted. I don't need any more fabric either, but I think I might just have to

over some of the fabrics. Thank you for posting the site.

Me too, but only where the neighbors can't see. I have several clear tarps and one silver one that I have stapled 10' long 1X3's to two ends. I drape these over our chicken tractors when it rains. We had a party here a few months back and invited a few neighbors they looked out in the yars and asked why we had so many tarp-covered camper shells back there! I just pulled them off, rolled them up and stacked them on my outdoor "shelf" : two fat fir branches from neighboring trees about 7' off the ground! You can hardly see them.

Hmmm... my vege garden has always been out back where nobody gets to see, so I get to do whatever I like. But the sun is in front. So this year we are moving my entire operation to the front.
I might have to plant a big row of flowers infront of my vegetables to hide & integrade them. But the cold frame might be a no no.
At the mean time, the vege starts are growing into the grow light in my laundry room.

I have 3 kinds of kale, zukes, peas, sunflowers, cosmoes, basil, holly hocks, and lots more seeds. I'm also going to harvest some iris plants and a few comfrey plants. I'll have to plant the comfrey at my neighbours before they move in.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about putting in raised veggie bed on whats left of the front lawn. I have a hedge along the sidewalk so I think I could get away with it. The only thing that really slows me down about the idea is that the cats live out in the front lawn. I have 5 cats, and I know that most of the neighbors have cats. I still don't know how many cats I am feeding most of the time. At least all the cats seem to be altered, because I have not seen any kittens for a long time now.

Alrighty! I have eggs being shipped out tomorrow. 2 dozen, CM, BLRW, FBCM, and Light Sussex! This will be the last hatch for me this spring! lol So if anyone wants to use a Brinsea eco 20 with turner in about 4 weeks, mine will be available! Iether that or its getting packed away until the Wheaton Ameraucanas start laying.

I don't know anything about the fused toes so I hope someone here can answer. Your chick pics are adorable! Now I'm even more excited to get my eggs set right after the Stevenson show. It will be my first time. I hope it goes well!

Congrats on the new cuties!

What, no bungie cords? My chicken tractor clear weather-proofing is mostly held on with bungie cords so I can change it with the wind. For the permanent run I'm going upscale with greenhouse-grade tarp material.

It's my patrimony: What was our milk barn, and now is dry storage and bottle-baby calf pen, was built about 44 years ago of used concrete forms held together with 40p spikes, the floor of raw-milled 6 X 10s framed on recycled telephone poles and the roof on unpeeled fir poles. It's still standing fine, even though a claustrophobic yearling bull once pushed his way out the corner and it had to be pulled back together with a comealong.

(See "Stumpfarmer")

hahah~~yes yes.. bungies--I DO have some of those too--

lol
See, the strength of your dry storage/bottle baby pen--it's a testimony to what we redneck farmers can pull together and make last!

heehee! where are you getting the tarp stuff?? I had one of the costco tarp garages that I have since repurposed some of the walls into wind blocks on the cochin tractors.. It seems to work well. I also have a little thingey that I can put grommets in plastic.. I might actually put real grommets in that garage tarp.. it will last another hunnert years I think... Right now it's just stapled, but they come out. and I hate looking for staples in grass..
