They did more on that NPR gang story today, on mothers and sisters of gang members, sad.

I need to dig out my tent trailer and see if it is full of mousies. I miss camping.

We should organize a Peeps & Quackers' camping trip some place not too far away. Lake Easton or something.
Who is game? I haven't driven too far with my trailer. Not enough guts.

Where is Easton? I am game. Just got to get DH on board.

CL: I'm on board. Just tell me when and where. Lake Wenatchee is nice...that is kind of half way for many too. But there are lots of areas. In Wenatchee at a State Park. The Methow area. Here in the Okanogan. Down by Grand Coulee area. Moses Lake. Dry Falls. These are the few that come to mind quickly at 5:58 am and only 1/2 a cup of coffee....

I think it is interesting that he may come to Bridgeport....can you say "Drug-hub"? Okay, that is kind of mean....but it is interesting that he would go to Bridgeport that probabl will be having a graduating class of 20. But I do think it is great for them.

This is why we dissected also. One of the fetuses had what looked like a burst blood vessel....just a lot of blood in that area. I really don't know what I wa looking at. My DD was upset at first, but I also did it for her...she needs to learn these things and I would rather peak her curiosity and not have her a babbeling idiot (like I was being - where she could nto see me) because the chickies died. The emotion is okay, but I also wanted her to understand that mother nature is not always the nicest person/thing and sometimes things just happen out of our control. She was okay (not me so much as I figure I killed them) after we talked. It was very interesting though. I was afraid that if I waited much longer in the incubator they may explode or something. I can't wait until I can do the next load (this weekend) and implement all the things that I have learned.

Thank you everyone! he is a big strapping colt too. his mom is a good 15'2 and his legs are almost as long as hers!! she had him in the pasture just before I got home from my moms b day dinner, he was already up. we brought him up to the barn I told my friend Murray to pick him up and he says to big...so I said I would get the big wheel barrow...he says...I dont think he will fit! I just checked on him, he is only a couple hours old and I watched him do a little lope and butt hop across the big stall. I have been waiting for him to arrive for almost a month, his due date was March 26th.

YOU may have thought his due date was 3/26....but evidently he didn't think so.....
