I'm Game! We love going to Lake Kachess .... it is very near Lake Easton, only nicer. I used to always grab lake-side spots, but last time I went, and it was almost full. I found a double spot on the loop the RV's usually go to. It is a bit further from the lake (still an easy walk), and best of all, less mosquitos! Really nice big spot with woods all around and bathroom nearby (flush but no showers.... we go home for those as I am 35 miles away ... and I could still take care of my chickens!) The campground is great... fairly quiet (especially compared to Lake Wenatchee), lots of hiking, nice lake for boats of all sizes, good swim area, flat for bicycles... No camp store though.

Hey that would be great!! I haven't camped here in a long time! Been out of state for a few years. We used to go Fish lake up near Wenatchee (sp) they have a nice lake and boat rentals if you need one ( we don't have one yet) I love to fish! With our new camper (new to us) we'd all be cooking up a storm!! yee hawwww! Great idea!

Yeah, on my nights off when I COULD go to bed at a decent hour, I end up wide awake until 2am...ugh...

But the old alarm clock still goes off at 730am to get DS ready for school...

I've always got insomnia, and the bad part is my DS's school bus comes by at 6:40 a.m.!!! What were they thinking???? Don't teens and almost teens need to sleep in? I have to be up by 6:00, and often earlier if he did not complete his homework.

isn't that weird=the school schedule? Elementary school starts at 9:30, and my son would be up at like 4:30 AM.. then the second he was in Jr High.. waking him before noon is like trying to wake the dead. I always have thought it was backwards. He is just now getting better at waking up on his own.. as a Freshman!

OM Gosh! too cute! what AQHQ line is he? your a cutter right? I used to dabble in rodeo myself a long time ago!! Barrel chasing ect! Them were the days!! Love the babies!! And I think their right about Harry Potter! LOL! gotta love it!

I have done some cutting, but show in reining. stud horse is a derby winner. this guy is his first colt. very excited about him!! will get some dry pics of him later today. he is already trying out those long legs!
He is Mr Gunsmoke, Hollywood Jac 86, Joe Cody, Doc O Lena and some Jet Deck thrown in for good measure lol

Ok Gottcha! Gotta love Jet Deck! I have always been partial to the old lines, with three bars, Poco Bueno, Oklahoma star, Music mount ect. Those were the lines of horses we had as a kid. I haven't kept up too much with them lately, although I still remember some including Doc O lena, Lark spur I think was one, It all depends and what you want to do with your horse as to which line you have, Jet Deck was racing quarter, ( we used to have friends that had that line and raced in the Tricities and Waitsburg ect)
Anyway, Congrats and good luck with the little guy, I'll be watching to see how gets along!

We need to find somewhere to take the horses! I have two that need riding bad! Older guys but, nice riding horses! I promised them both they were going to get rode more this year! I have 5 acres but, just jumping on and riding here is dangerous! we have a country road that people love to speed on and no way to get off it, so if I go riding I pretty much have to trailer!

Thanks for the offer. We just bought the grandparents package...2 adults and 4 kids! We only have one kid, but he likes to bring friends.
So fun!
Are you going to stay the night in Portland?

No, we will be coming down in the morning. Only an hour and 20 min drive for us. Too hard to stay over w/ 6 Kids!!!

Nice avitar. Is that one of your own babies??
Hmm. My drive is almost 4 hrs. With bathroom stops and such it is more like 5 hrs.
I'll see you at the show. How long are you going to be there??
