You can unplug and move it if you need to, just be gentle as you would be candling the eggs.
One trick I learned for setting temps is turn knob then half turn back... tweak then 1/2 tweak back...
it takes a little getting used to since such minor adjustments can make the temp drop or skyrocket...

I was in the hospital for 2 days cuz I passed out in the bathroom after i got home from work which happens to be at 11pmish. My husband found me laying on the floor with my face in tub of wash cloths not breathing. He pulled me out of there and I started vomiting blood then food. They really had no clue what caused it all but now I have a tear in my escougus. I have to have a colonospy done in a few weeks.

This is not the 1st time I have had something happen and they could not figure out what happen to me.

My eco 20 resides in my full walk in closet. Its on the shady side of my house, so stays a consistant temp. If you have a room that holds temp better I would go ahead and quikly, but carefully move it. It sounds like your main issue is the room its in. When is your next candleing day? Or the next day you will add water? If its a couple days or more away, Im not sure that I personally would wait that long.

Keep in mind that I only have 1 actual hatch notched into my belt, and 1/3 way through the second. So I am just going off my limited experience.

Ok, yea I think your right! jeez I thought I read enough, ok, I filled the first trough with water like the direction said, I started the incubator on Saturday and I'm not supposed to candle till the 10th of the month!! I was under the impression that it wouldn't need more water till then and you had to make sure that trough was full again till you candled on the 18th day? Jeez, now I don't know if I will have anything!! I printed off the directions CL gave to me and I'm trying to follow it to the letter! I've been so afraid of the temp fluctuation that I haven't even dared open it?? eeekkkk!

Depending on how humid your house is, will tell you how often you must fill it. I have to refill the one resevior every 3 days, or it drys up, and there goes your humidity levels. Take a deep breath your doing fine! So if you started the incubator on Saterday, Tuesday I would sudgest you check your water levels. I found it much easier to take a large syreng "sp?" and about 1/4 - 1/3 cup of 100 degree water. Fill the syreng, and squirt it into the water trough. This is the ONE thing that I do not like about the eco 20. You have to open the bator to fill the water up. I dont remove the egg tray, I just make sure I can get the syreng between the eggs, and squirt it through the diamond grid pattern in the tray.

Ok the spelling of that word is driving me nutts. It just doesnt look right.

Spelling is NOT my strong point. lol So bare with me please. lol

Wow thats something good to hear! My DH had Leukemia and is in remisson. He see's his dr every month for blood levels and checkup. He goes again on friday to see how he is doing.

My family has a long early history of all sorts of cancers... And I started showing signs of Lymphoma after I had my DD. Lost a bunch of weight, severe pain with any amount and any kind of alchohol, swolen lymph nodes, loss of appetite, ect... It freaked me out when CL and I started researching what the symptoms could point too. And because I have no health insurance for myself, I had to fight to get anyone to see me. Its been very frustrating, but having some answers now, I at least know that its not lymphoma.

Gods do I ever hate being put through that machine!

I'm closterphobic "sp?" when it comes to tunnels of any size, so I had to be doped up long before being put on the table. lol

Oh I know how frustrating that can be. Back in 2005 my liver shut down on me. So many tests were done and they couldnt figure it out. The county health department put me in quarentine for 60 days, as the hospital couldnt figure out what was wrong. They said Hep A, then B, the nope its gotta be C... Then a week later there was no indecation of anything being wrong. I was yellow from jondice for 3 months, was on a strict diet, wasnt allowed to leave the house for 2 months, couldnt even cook my own food. They never did figure out what it was that caused the failure...

Guess Im just one big anomaly. "sp?"

lol Im taking up the entire page. lol And my husband somehow removed my spell check!
rant.gif
Dont know why he would do that, as he knows that I cant spell. lol

Maybe if its just you and me we can have our own get together LOL

Besides rir chicks I got white rock/buff orpington chicks and 2 jersey giants. Oh ya got a 2 americana's that the lady says they are roosters but I am not so sure about one of them. Those are 7 weeks old. For now that should be all for us.
