From what I've read, too much heat is much deadlier than too little heat.

I would never say I told you so about something like that!!!! I just know the stuff saved my bacon when I was ready for them to dig a hole for me! Cause when your urping you just want it to end. Don't know how it works but it does! ! Not the best tasting stuff but I've had much, much worse. Like I said, with 6 kids in the house, I can't afford to be w/o it! Glad it worked for ya!!

We have a grocery store here called Shop-N-Kart. They have a health/natural section and that is where we found it.
It is made by Peaceful Mountain in Boulder CO. 888-303-3388 www.peacefulmountain.com But a heath food store may carry it or be able to get it. Freddies maybe? Hope you can find some. It can be stored at room temp and has a long shelf life. Great stuff!

Spunky Teeny Little Super Guy! Size isn't everything.

Am seriously considering going back to bed. So depressed I can hardly move. Making funerary decisions; urns, caskets (old fashioned priest insists on body present for funeral mass will cremate afterward), prayer cards, readings, and Mr. H picks now to kick the poor, blind, old dog outside because of his accidents in the house. I don't have the energy to argue, just to worry about the poor old thing. Today is his birthday. He's 14.

Im so sorry its a hard thing to do.

Well, I accidentally sorted out four loads of laundry and put one of them in the washer, so I've once again failed to take the day off. I'm shot and need to rest and take pain killers and lie down with my feet up and my hips in a position that doesn't hurt (ha ha, ha ha) but there's so much to be done, and I think Ian's learning to crow, finally.

Also: what's the deal about "only one rooster on the place will crow?" that I keep reading all over BYC? I know it's not true from my experience with the Thousand Banty Army (especially because the fir tree next to my bedroom window was BOQ), and right now both the RSL and OEG roosters crow off and on all day: I like the sound, I'm not complaining. And the across-the-street neighbor's fryer pen was cetainly musically active.

Tried to open it but the server's overloaded. I must admit a certain degree of mischievousness in my desire to sign, having experience of Clyde Hill and its residents, over the years.

Thank YOU for being a hatching buddy! Speaking of, have my fellow Brinsea hatching buddies entered the May hatch contest? You can win an Ovascope this month. You need to post on the Brinsea May hatch thread here and also be a friend on Facebook.

I am already a friend .... what do I ahve to do?

Go here to the Brinsea May Hatch Along and read the contest rules.

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=490985&p=1

You need to "register" by posting what you have in the incubator, what kind of Brinsea you have, etc. Then when your chicks hatch, take a photo or video, post it in that forum AND on FB. Let them know what your BYC name is when you post on FB. Better read the instructions because I'm sure I'm leaving something out. But all Brinsea hatch buddies this month should enter. A free OvaScope would be cool, don't ya think? Some months they've given a choice of prize.
