Tomorrow is day 20 and there's no action in the incubator yet.

My hatching buddies are having all kinds of excitement, but I've got no pips, no chirps, peeps, or rocking eggs. I'm hoping my chicks are just sticklers for staying on schedule according to the calendar. Maybe someone told them I don't have the brooder ready yet. I'm taking tomorrow off of work to take my daughter shopping for professional work clothes. ( She's beginning an internship at my Dad's Law firm on Monday) I will also be fashioning the brooder out of a nice big plastic bin, so perhaps "if I build it they will come". I am going to be disappointed if Friday comes and goes and no one hatches.

Boy sure seems like the night crew has been absent a lot lately. Hope they are all OK.

Woke up this morning to 1 more chick hatched and 2 eggs zipped and I got to watch them hatch. So now total of 4 hatched and I can see 2 pipped...but not sure there could be more. Today is officially day 20 and I have a total of 26 eggs in there. We will see what the day brings.

Well both of my bantam eggs hatched. I have NO clue as to what breed they are. So once I am able to take them out of the incubator I will be asking oppinions on these teeny tiny babies! So cute in their stripes! There are more pips, but no more zipping out yet. I am now on day 21. So we shall see how the rest of the hatch goes today.

The first one hatched out at 10 AM yesterday, the secon hatched around 10PM last night.

I was in Oral surgery, endodontics & periodontics.

Huh... sounds like we all are alike! I worked in Prosthedontics for 10 years and Orthodontics for the last 11. General for a few months in between but I am much more comfortable in a specialty office. Maybe it's easier for me to focus on one area?
