Hey all,
I am in Olympia WA with my 4 brand new chicks...They are Australorps.. I also have 1 dog, 2 horses, a hubby and a 5 yr old son that loves the chickens. This is the first time since I was a kid that I've owned chickens and I am really looking forward to it.. I have been reading through different threads and there is such great information I am still a bit behind on this thread I must say but it sure is fun!!

Marndan! It is addicting in here... And Cheryl wasn't kidding: "a little hard to stay caught up" ??!! I went to let the ladies out, visit a bit and have our first cup, came back and there're THREE pages to read

O AND FYI be vewry carefull about blueducklings and T HI. They think chickens have webbed feet, like to swim and walk standing straight up and they will try to get you to get some of those kind of chickens.

I wonder if OUR SHARE CROP of RIRB are hatching yet !! Gotta be gettin close they been in there since Sunday. Come Broody whats the hold up are they done yet.

I am unhappy to say I cannot make the pot luck this week end either, I am swamped (LOL) with work amd still trying to catch up from when DH was gone 3 weeks...we were way behind schedule THEN!
I also have many people coming over on the week end for pullets, chicks & manure....sorry eenie !!!
