If you email Illia, she gets it sooner.

i hate going to sleep at night..... you wake up and the pain killer is out of your system and you are in pain... redosed an hour ago and i am getting sleepy again

I might work on starting more plant starts
it is 65 out today
I did plant radishes, berries and melon seeds and 2 pots of cold resistant squash in the garden tuesday.

my parents say the hens are happier now that i have 6 less roosters even had a sudden increase in production to prove the stress levels have decreased

tomorrow is lockdown.

I was wondering where do i get quail eggs like gambels quail we have around the house?

Anyone know where to get grouse eggs? i want to raise some and let some native breeds go. and let go more quail. someone here raised turkey vultures a few years ago and they have kept the highways cleaner than the DOT does. one person also raised phesants and let them go... but i really want grouse...

what do you guys do with all those phesant and quail you hatch? still working on persuading some runner ducks or dewlap toulouse(not that i can find any eggs)

getting sleepy now that the meds have started kicking in. my bottom right hurts alot still... i think it was the farthest along.

I made an outrageous statement on the Wyandotte board a few days ago, and she responded to me there?

Oh, yay! My BIL feeds past-pull-date sour cream to his pigs, and thus has tons of 3 gallon buckets with lids: my nest-box problem is fixed, fixed, fixed! HA!

Now all I need is to figure out how I'm going to get the roof sheathing up, unless my daughter can persuade her boyfriend to help (ha ha, ha ha) because the elder spawn is working the shift which keeps him from doing anything but working. At least all the plywood is cut, and so on.

Wow I didn't know selling a horse was so much work??? I cleaned my brooder house and let the chicks out for the 1st time yesterday before all H**& broke lose. Have the other pen with the meaties to do today! I brought my friend over to see my new menagerie and I told her look out, these things are pigs with feathers!! lol!! It's true!!! I really didn't know chickens could be so aggressive at feed time!! I just feel sorry for them really, they can't get around well, that's why I'm going to develop my own meat bird I think. Hey that might be a good topic? What crosses would make a good meat bird, one that puts on decent weight but can walk!!! lol! I would be interested in finding out what others think since they have many more breeds than I do. BTW I've only had one guess on my chicks?? I guess no one wanted to play!!!

Normally selling a horse isnt that hard to do. But this time is the exception. My client is VERY high mantenance, and so is my Step father...

Ive been doing everything for both of them. Setting up the vet check, 3-4 sessions with my trainer, plus taking my Step father out to ride on an almost daily basis. Then theres the fact that my step Father has NO tack, so Im searching for that for him as well, and getting my place ready for a 4th horse. Plus all the chicken activities around here. It all adds up and makes me one tired lady. Most of all selling this horse is mentally draining, as I dont get a break. When my step father quits asking me to do things, then my client emails or calls and the cycle starts all over again. Red "the horse" was having urination issues on Sunday. So we are having that checked out, even though I feel it was only because he had the rear latigo to far back on his groin, and probably made it uncomfortable for poor red to pee. He's been fine since sunday.

It really boils down to the buyer and seller both being high mantenance, as this horse really could sell himself. 11 years old 1300 pounds 16.2hh, gorgeous red roan, 3 months of training with clinton anderson, works cattle, awsome trail horse, packs, leads, highlines, ties, ect... Just a great all around horse, just NOT a show horse as he has the UGLIEST front legs, and is pigeon toed. But none the less a great horse that should be a very easy sale.

Really?? With all that I'm just not seeing a problem here!! wouldn't have to ask me twice!! lol! sounds like a good guy!!! Don't know why people make a bigger deal out of stuff then has to be, get a vet check and be done with it right?? to me it's the trustworthy source of where you would be getting your horse, and if YOU keep your horses well, then your step father and the seller shouldn't have to worry to much!!

If anyone sees feed sales at Del's, Monroe Farm, etc anywhere from Issaquah to Arlington let me know.
Time for me to stock up again.
Prices have gone up considerably since last time.
I will be growing lot of chicken food this summer to go with regular food and hope to make it last through out most of winter.

Feed prices are 100% dependant on fuel prices, unfortunately, so this year looks to be a bearcat. I'm trying to figure out how to plant a few oats or some rye for the chickens, but it looks unlikely this year: too much else going on in my life. There's a chicken food coop in Oly, but it's fifty bucks to get in and looks more like a chicken hobbyist take on the old Westside Co-op than the rebirth of Western Farmers.

I miss Western Farmers...
