DH's had an alarm that went off when ever the company decided they wanted him to check in even though he was within range. He had to get up to call in to let them know he was there. I finally wrote a letter to the judge to please ask him to shorten the sentence since as a mother of 2 young boys(at the time) I was going CRAZY with no sleep. God was with me and the judge ordered it removed. Hopefully you have a different company that the night crew doesn't get their jollys waking the household.

Our contractor called yesterday to say he was sending his excavator guy here this weekend to get the foundation dug & then maybe Tuesday he would be here to frame & rebar the forms.
I have told T-Hi that DH & I will try our hardest to be at her place Sunday, van & trailer, to help her & the girls & ducks, move.
DH has a "iffy" back, but is not useless (yet) and my back has been hurting but more than likely from over use, not physical defect, but who knows ?
T-Hi has had a very rough time with her DH...and cannot get medical help or even food stamps as long as he has his fanny parked there.
He won't leave, and has not worked, and took her car, she had to buy a new one a few weeks before she got sick.
Poor kid needs a break!
Anyone that can help, please get to her house on Sunday bright & early.
Thanks.

Anyone who needs to contact Toni can PM me for her number, or Blue Ducklings too......Toni is such a sweetheart and has done so much for so many of us, I really want to be there to help her.
She has not been able to work in months, has a total dead beat husband she desperately needs to get away from, hard to do when you have no money.
She finally has a few diagnosis for her pain & illness as hernias among other things, so she needs help.
Thanks all!

No matter how many you put in, they will all fight over the same one!!!

We have 16 in our layer coop of 15 birds, and they use maybe 3 of them at most.

4 should be more than adequate.

Yeah I think it's 1 per 3-4 birds. Of course we have 3 for 10 birds and they only use one. I think your good with 4

So, guys, how normal is it to get a rumpless bird that is not an araucana? I have one that is an olive egger that I thought was just feathering slowly but checked it out and it actually has no tail stump(or whatever you call it).
CL- this is one I hatched from you. Were they Ameraucana x Marans or Araucana x Marans. If the latter then that would explain it. Doesn't bother me, I think it's cute. We named that one Stubby.

hi guys. been super busy lately...

I set 12 partridge penedensca, 6 golden cukoo marans, 6 blue birchern marans eggs in the bator sunday (along with some intentional cross breed eggs) and tonight i will be setting 28 Icelandic eggs in the bator plus more intentional crosses.

Today I drove up to Tonasket and Omak... that is a far place. it reminds me of Wenatchee minus the people... so its like seeing a small version of W before people settled.

To the people who live up in tonasket... out on Pine Creek Road who owns the super fancy horse facility??? That is crazy expensive, do they raise race horses???

I am so tired. That drive takes alot out of you... Next time when I go alone (boss came with me this time) I will bring my dog Charlie for company and 'security'... not that a golden retriever is fearsome.....
