If we look back far enough, even the Native Americans were transplants. Humans love to travel. Thats what makes us humans! I am a transplant, and probably will transplant myself a few more times. As I age...I want to gravitate towards the equator. LOL. New food, new people...new ducks.

You can move to Eucuador with Justbugged!!!
Nice & warm..sandy beaches....native cultures, pristine wilderness...........banana trees..lots of coconuts......ducks ?
Lots of ducks in the winter!

Oooh yeah! Now we are talking. Far away from this radiated rain. It makes earthworms grow into mammoth snakes.

Gawd....now the sun is out in all it's glory..............bi-polar weather extrodinare.
Makes me worry about what is winter going to be like?
And what if it goes extremely opposite now?
Like a 1 year drought??
I would rather have this than fires anyday!!!

I have talked to my friends in Austrailia.........they have experienced EXTREME conditions down under...first the drought, then the fires (black Saturday) and immeasurable mice invasion, then floods & frogs.......we should be thankful for what we have AND do not have (yet)

And in the wise words of Frasier:
Good night everybody!!

I had acouple psycho, thoroughbreds and one quarter cross that was nuts!!! Ran me into the middle of the road when car was coming. I believe the Arab rescue I have now is polish, has the dip but his head is thicker and he has the pointed little ears, he's about 21 now and just a good boy!! He still after about 7 years won't fully trust me, he only lets me love on him a little then pulls away
sad.png
I can tell he was hit and kicked around but, I have never had to strong arm him at all, it takes very little pressure to move him on or off the ground. He will let you grab his tail and he will pull you up the trail, and if your on the ground and need to hustle, he's right there beside you trotting right along!! Have no idea about his past just know, he's a good one, but!! He HATES needles!! That would be his only draw back, vaccine time is a pain!!! He's quick and moves fast when he sees that needle coming!!! don't blame him tho, I don't like them pointed in my direction either!! lol!!!!

so I wonder how the "horse whisperer" did with the Paso fino???

I never heard anything back from her (the lady that bought the filly--so who knows?) LOL I went to college for horse training...and there comes a time & point when it was better to walk away. It's the only horse I have ever given up on. But after she wrecked $2,000+ worth of fence, broke my wrist, stepped on my foot twice, struck at my head, ran by & kicked in my general direction, bit at me and finally pinned me up against the round pen wall--I had had enough!
somad.gif
These were all separate occurrences over about a year that I owned her. Thankfully, the way I was pinned up against the wall--my vet who is 6'4 or more and probably a good 300lbs was there and he shoved the horse over & picked me up around my waist and moved me out of the way!
th.gif
It was during the vet check (soundness exam, etc) & coggins pull for her trip to CA. He told me it was a good thing I was getting rid of her...and he also told me that shooting her would be cheaper than the visit he was doing that day!
lol.png
I told him I realized that but he was billing her (the new owner) so no skin off my booty!

Although some did come off my arm when I got smashed & scraped against the rails.

that is $16 a lb!
if people get that much for silkies I'll start raising them! daaang...

Yeah, now I thought the asians coming here wanted black chicken, LOL as in Black feathers, and were willing to pay the $10 for a young black am pullet, then looking at the bird they said "NO ! want black chee-cun!!!!!!"
So I am slow..............
They want black skin/blood/organs/bone chicken.
It looks like a black rubber chicken to me.
Has medicinal powers & so on...Blue Duckling said her family used to make it in her meat-eating days (maybe this is why she hates black shiney birds?)
But she said they stewed it all day & usually just used it's broth.
Wonder how all that fluff would do in the plucker?
Probably stick in all the little sipes ?
Well back to work..progress is being made even in the rain..they went home & got forms & air vent forms...I will go take pics.

Sumatras also are black-skinned (at least some are).
