Ah, man you are so mean. I hatched out some orpington eggs (I think I talked with you about them). I was going to keep the 1 black roo that hatched. You told me (if I remember correctly) that there are American and European versions of orpingtons? And that the European versions are more "fluffy"? Am I remembering this correctly? Hoss is a "fluffier" version. Right?

This is so tempting. But I just dont' have the space. I really like the opringtons and I am going to continue working forward on this bird. I like the dual purpose.

yeah we did chat about them. the english are bigger and way more fluff. Hoss is 100 % english, from two english imports. I will share pics when they hatch, see how big and blue they get.

My hayfever comes in the fall.

That should make it easier to track down since there are not as many things pumping out lots of pollen in the fall.

I saw the 'errors' but I didn't think it was my place to point them out. And I refuse to take this as permission to do so in the future either. There is no tone of type here so it is very easy for things to be taken the wrong way. Maybe I'm being overly careful, but so be it.

Could you try force feeding gatorade? Or pick up sterile saline (no additive) opth soln to inject?

Serious Q in regards to the latest injured hen in our flock. How long can a hen live on water & *possibly* a few bites of food able to pass down into the crop? I assume the water is passing through but seems like food is getting caught on the tightest part of the sutured areas. Sigh.
