Ok, I will admit to being one of those people.

I did that once because of how I had the latches on my doors. I had the swingy part on the door and the little sticky out part on the side. The door shut hard and the hinged part swung around and latched and I couldn't open it. Nobady was home and I didn't have my cel phone on me. I basically had to kick the door a few time really hard to bust it open, but it scared me and I switched the latches around post haste! Lesson learned. Never Again!

WOW See how easy it is to get people to fess up and it wasn't even Kim I was talking about. So I wonder how many more will fess up???

Pooh, its raining. Oh well, have lots to do in the greenhouse and the garden needed water.

I wouldn't mind doing bees but we already have a local bee person who makes a living selling honey. I just buy hers and no work on my part. Not a lot blooming around here but scotch broom and grass, maybe some salal.

First day of summer vacation, and the kids were up and fighting by 6:30!!! DH's co-worker gave Alex a video game. He becomes a grump when he plays video games (so does DH). I can't understand why someone would continue with something that puts them in such a foul mood!

Mint is a great source of bee food and blooms very late.

Thyme is too - I had thousands of them on my patio yesterday when the sun was out. Not honey bees though, but the fuzzy yellow, orange and black kind.

I have a bush near my window that gets covered in honeybees late each summer.

Are ya sure they weren't honey's ?? That sounds like young honey bees. They are smaller size and they are fuzzy. But normally most of the new hatch are not fuzzy by the time they are promoted to work outside the hive.

I bet there are more pollen and nectar producers in your area than you can imagine!! Can never be too many beekeepers, they need our help. And for anybody that wants pollenation and doesn't care about honey get mason bees they do way more than honey bees.

I was thinking tri-colored bamble bees. I only see them this time of year. I'll take a photo for you when the rain stops if they are out because I don't know my bees.

If they knew anything about bees they would realize that when swarming that bees cannot sting (at least that was what I was raised to believe) because they are so full of what they are carrying. Is this true. I have never been afraid of honey bees when there is a swarm because I know their luggage is packed and they are moving.

Surely this rain is my fault, since I made sure to get everything in the garden watered yesterday way into the evening last night. Watering can be a project here, since I have not gotten all the drip run, and have at least another million things to do. Guess I will work in the greenhouses, have another 80 or so peppers to get into gallon pots.
