I'm teasing....my DD was mad at me the other day and told me this...but funny one of her friend's had called her mother this...I saw a friend on FB whose child had told her this. Must be an epedemic or something.

It doesn't bother me, because you are right.....I am instilling morals and beliefs and work ethics and respect for people and animals, etc. So If I get the award....I want a big shiny trophy....cuz I am doing my best.

Hey all - anyone know someone who has a couple very young chicks for sale near Seattle? No more than 1-5 days old. I have a broody that's been sitting nearly 2 months - I need to move her along by getting some babies grafted to her.

I have 6 Blue/Black Orpington LF in the first batch and 18 bantam cochin eggs in blue/black/lavender in the second batch. (Yes, the breeder had a blue split roo over lavender hens, said she's hatching out both blue and black chicks split for lavender plus pure lavender chicks). I will be getting rid of all the blue one's for sure to simplify my breeding pen. PM me if you are interested!

Not to be gross or rude (hope no one offended)....I had read to use KY jelly.
This is good information to know though.

I was told to use mineral oil or ky but didnt have any, olive oil works on a lot of things so I thought why not a stuck egg. it worked, egg is huge...will crack it soon and see if its a double yolker.

Connection is very spotty since late last evening, been chompin at the bit w/o having access to the forum. Do you know how many pages I am behind now ? Oh lordy..sometimes I click and it works instantly .. most of the time, no go. I ran a traceroute, and it shows there is a lapse in the connection about 19 hops from here, but before getting to the server itself. bleh.
