Hi All,
I'm not sure if this will work or not but I want to try. I have only 2 chickens and in my excitement to get everything I needed I bought 2 bags of feed (scratch & layer crumbles) from the place suggested to me by the guy that sold me the 2 chickens. Drive Thru Feed in Key Peninsula. If you've been there you know these bags of feed are huge. 80 lbs each! I obviously had no idea what I was doing. Now I'm looking at them going.... what in the world am I going to do with all this?

I'm wondering.... is there anyone in Kitsap County that might be interested in buying some of this??? I'm sure that 20 lb. of scratch and 40 lb. layer will last me quite a long time. If you think you might want some, please PM me. Thanks!

I don't think it's your connection. Rare Feathers and I have the same problem. All the other sites work fine. Just BYC isn't doing too well. Just keep clicking. It will finally go with out showing the bad connection page.

Nothing that I can think of, but maybe bumble foot.
That would be on the center pad on the under foot, but would not develope for some odd days time.
And close the door!
I have forgotten one coop only once, and since then, I double check just in case I forget one again !

Well I ordered hive frames, an excluder (cuz the one DH is building looks really big) and the hive body should be all we would need til spring, right CR?
But we will have supers built and ready by the time we need them.
In the mean time, someday in the next month or so, DH will drive down to CA & visit with his Dad & bring back all the bee keeping stuff, hats, nets, gloves, smokers, medications, hive bodies, supers, excluders and packaging stuff, knifes, tools and so on.
DH's brother-in-law (Albert) and his Dad, ran a honet service/business for 50 years, until he retired some time in 2004..and gave all the stuff to DH's Dad, that is how FiL got all the stuff.
last time I was there I think (not sure) he even had a centrifuge & a few giant-sized funnels with screens...and all sorts of other stuff.
Bee suits too.
I also ordered a few books so I can study up.
And if CR gets another swarm, we will buy it!!
Got that CR ??

I'm traveling to Leavenworth the last weekend of July - the 29th - 31st? If we could put together a deal to make connections along the way I could get him from Tacoma to east of the mountains.
