Just wait till the baby has it's first 'blowout' Poop in every direction! Only course of action is the bath tub! Might make him rethink a bit!

Oh what about older babies/toddler who has a blow out at night and then uses this for finger painting....Yep, had that one hapen. This was the most disgusting thing ever.

Our middle son did not need to have a blow out for that. He would suck his thumb and the other hand would do an Al Bundy (Hand in the front). We did break him of putting his hand down the front of his diaper, he move his hand to the back and that was very hard to break. He painted just about everything. It is very hard to clean it off window blinds.

DE is mother earths natural help to kill bugs.( great for fleas in your carpet, but be careful its very fine and can hurt your lungs) Poultry dust and Sevin kill bugs with chemicals.
So what do you want to do with it? Thats what you need to start at first

Thank you. I've just heard talk about all products and their uses. I'm going to do a thorough cleaning of the coop soon and wanted to use one of the products in the coop bedding and run to help prevent any little buggy critters from annoying my girls. No signs of them yet, it's just preventative. I did pick up some food grade DE from GardenSphere the other day, but also have some Poultry Dust from Del's.

I went out at 7am today it was 75* and very humid. I was working on a chicken tractor, by 8:15 it was raining. I think I'll go make some bread.

edit: I'm a blonde.

I use food grade D.E. in the dirt my girls take their bath in, in their nest boxes and to dry up the poop in the shavings under the roosts. I even rub it on their roosts. I read that it is so fine that it is suppose to cut into the flesh of mites and lice

I have used poultry dust a few times . putting it right on my girls. I only check my flock for lice and mites about once every 3 or 4 months. Have NEVER seen any

((((((((CL))))))))))))

PPP- I feel the same way you do. I got really lucky the second time around. I fould someone that loves me, for me, who I am right now, and who I will be. And I love him the same way. I had to marry an A-hole the first time around to learn the hard lesson. But in the end it was worth the wait. I think everyone goes through rough patches, but if they last a long time or things are more rough than smooth then it's time to lay down the law or make some serious changes. But there are always reasons why we go through these things and we each need to be able to decide how to handle them. I just thank God everyday that I have the DH and kids that I have, even though I complain about the kids sometimes. But hey....I know they complain to their friends about me too! Lol! I am also thankful for all my BYC friends too! You guys are great, each and every one of you!

CL- Make him ask so you can say "I need to think about it." Lol! He's thought about it for quite some time, now it's your turn!

Yeah- and smells of cinnamon. Great for joint pain. Used to be good for moxibustion (application of heat to pressure points) but they took the capsaicin out.

Yeah I think that's the stuff that comes in the red tin/box? Bag balm is in the green tin one and works good for horse stuff, too.

It comes in a tiny red tin, the size of a stack of three quarters, or an octagonal grass jar with a stamped tin lid painted copper color. I have three of those in various stages of emptiness (and lostness) in the house: the red tins always get stuck together after a couple of uses.

I actually managed to sleep in today, first time in months, and I'm not even sick!

The old school Tiger Balm was a lot stronger. We still ahve some somehow. The wife and her family use it. In the Indian markets they have sometiems larger containers of it. I have only seen the little ones in the Asian and American markets.

Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. Little dude is doing OK. This started as a bug bite. It got infected and she took him in. They were able to drain a tablespoon of puss, cultured it and started antibiotics. The results came back and the antibiotic was appropriate.
However, it started spreading. He got hard knots and it was red up into his groin. They took him to the er who sent him to mary bridge. He got IV fluids and antibiotics followed by an ultrasound. They didn't find puss pockets but decided to admit for IV antibiotics.
Overnight he started running a fever and has more knots, but they don't think it's puss pockets. They did call a a surgeon just in case.
My brother has gotten an extension for today at least. They are hoping he won't be going back to Afghanistan until the baby iis out of the hospital.
