Thanks! And Happy Birthday to your little brother! We once went to Tulalip to buy fireworks ... never again! people were setting stuff off right and left just a couple feet away from the booths they were buying them from! I told Don this is going to be one of those places you hear about in the news when the stands catch fire killing a bunch of people. There appeared to be security guards around, but I think they were just looking for gangs or shop lifters because they ignored the idiots blowing stuff up right under their noses.

That happens around here as well... I prefer gowing to my adopted family's stand. They will kick someone off the property if they even act like they are lighting anything within 100' of the stand. They are one of the few smart ones. Though I will say. One of the best shows Ive ever seen was when the firework stand just across the agate pass bridge off of bainbridge Island caught fire. Nobody was hurt luckily, but it was a neat show. That stand has always been the most dangerous one around here. You would think that they would get the clue after the 3rd or 4th time the stand burned down... But nope, they let people light fireworks not 10-15 feet away from the stand...

Some people are not very bright.

Ok now I really need to get my rear in bed... Got to get up early go to work, then come home and finish my brothers 4 tier B-day cake. G'night!

edited because I hate my kk key...

Goodnight, and Happy 4th!!!

I'm searching for my camera again; I need a clapper on the thing. Misplaced it at DD's Birthday Party on Saturday. I think it may be in a chicken coop as I gave several coop tours to the parents!

Glad to have another of us from Yakima. I live out in West Valley on Wide Hollow (the road AND the creek).

Seems to me that someone is building a barn. How's that coming along btw?

I could not access the mountain rose herbs web site...said it did not exist. Can you help. would be interested in reading up on the coccidiosis treatment qualities.

Tried the link in my post and it did the same. Went back to the original post and it went to the sight so not sure why it didn't link up. I typed www.MountainRoseHerbs.com in my browser bar and it also went. Hopefully this link will work as posted or you can type it in yourself.

This is so scary for me to read.
A friend of mine's daughter (24)...had something irritating and painful on her arm - it looked like a bug bite. She went to the clinic..they told her it was a mosquito bite and to go home. The next day it was worse with worse symptoms...she went to the local ER. Local ER said this is too much for us, shipped her to Wenatchee. Wenatchee says this is too much for us...Flew her to Harbor View. The poor girl....it was a bite from a Brown Recluse. She lost her arm (had to amputate it) and she is still in critical condition. A dumb bug bite - itis too much for me to understand how a little spider has altered this young woman's life so dramatically....that is if she even lives.

When I was about 7-8 years old I was bit by a recluse. My pediatrition thought it was a staph infection. They couldn't figure out why it kept spreading and not reacting to the treatments... I was finally shipped off to Childrens Hospital in Seattle, had tests run, and it came back a spider bite... The Dr. at Childrens said if my parents had waited another week, I would have lost the lower leg. I still have scars from that. Not fun, and something I hope to NEVER deal with again.

Very scary. I don't know if I would recognize something like this....this is what also scares me. The "what-if".

Yesterday, it got close to 90 and w/o A/C (which DH said we'd get for our living room)--it was 86 in the house!

I was outside for a few hours--moved some chicks around, got my bantam orloffs in their new coop....mowed the lawn and then I got really dizzy and felt faint....and sweaty!

I ended up going over to my in-laws' and laying on their couch for 4 hours yesterday...I finally got DH to put our A/C in the bedroom last night....and his mom & dad said last night they are buying us another "window shaker" A/C unit for our living room!

So they either feel bad for me or they don't want me beached on their couch for the next 6 weeks!
