I have 10 girls and 7 boys. Pretty good odds.
I need to decide which boy I am going to keep and then sell the rest.
But which one? THey are all so pretty?
DH thinks they are eating us out of house and home...then burrying the rest of the home in duck doo.

OK, I admit the poo is a bit overwhelming even for a tractor.
Can't decide if I want to breed blue, lavender or cinnamon ducklings next year.

I have ten fingers to type with, but only two eyes to read with, so I'm always behind trying to read the postings!

What am I supposed to say when my BIL who is 15 years younger than me declares that he's too old for farming?

Still trying to swap out bulls: I've got the leased bull, seventeen cows and fourteen calves locked in the orchard right now- about an acre of the worst pasture on the place. Hope they stay in while I go buy a pieshell!

Update the police just stopped by and handed me a paper that says we can't have the chicken or they rooster........it says they have to be 25 feet from the property line this means we can't have them

Argh. That sucks. Do you suppose someone complained? I hear of people near me having chickens when the zoning technically doesn't allow it, and nobody says anything (though that might not always be the case).
