Both have edible berries. The evergreen huckleberry has blue/black berries. The deciduous huckleberry has red berries.
 
I am in skagit valley and there are huckleberries up in the woods here. Yum this will be my first year to get any in 13 yrs

BREAKING NEWS !!!!! I got in touch with VF's DW about 1:00pm. He is ok just out of town for a few days and should be back tomorrow. She also said that she had been taking care of the chickens but lost 4 more last night (yoddel dawgs). She said he has ordered all the stuff to put up 8' fence when he gets back.
OK now I gotta get back to splatterin paint on my RIR B coop.

I have many for sale so its habit to post it and well.... If i don't on Craigslist i get the "I want that hen" emails even if it clearly states roosters in the title

what do the evergreen ones look like?? I have a HUGE deciduous one in my yard.. I am Soooo lucky!! yum!! I was able to start picking them two weeks ago finally.
