If she still has the clippers etc. I'd like more info since I am a dog groomer. Not all clippers are made equal

Might be interested if they are good quaility.

Unfortunately, I just bought one 2 weeks ago. Since you are a dog groomer and I have no clue what I'm doing, maybe you can tell me if I made a good choice. I bought a Wahl A5 Turbo. The reviews I saw were pretty good, where reviews for other clippers only lasted about 5 clips. My dog is big and shaggy (standard poodle mix). I'm hoping this will last 10 years. I hate when products work well a few times and then not so much anymore. I paid $160 and then I needed a loger blade that was an additional $30+.

I brought Alex to his second week at camp this morning. DD did not earn a second week as her grades were not great.

okay, going to try this ...

this is a picture of my young roo that I've been talking about
the teal on his hackles, wings, and tail doesn't show as strikingly here -- you'd have to see him in person

one good sized green egg .. probably from Christina
one medium sized pale blue egg ... almost certainly Phoebe
one smaller green/khaki egg ... either Deirdre, or one of the others has just started, perhaps Becky

(that last is smaller than Deirdre's last, and slightly more khaki colored, so

CGG I am sure you do LOTS of things very well. It's just that since you haven't been here much lately we don't get a chance to tell you how good you are and how much we miss you !!

Anybody doing a road trip from up near T HI south toward me please let me know. She has some very cool materials that I need to figure out a relay for.

I tried to look up your "Wahl A5 Turbo" but couldn't find it. Are you sure its not "Oster A5 Turbo"? Oster was one of the first companies out there but I personally don't like them if that is what you got. The heavy bulky round body of the clippers are hard on your hands. Other wise they do work pretty good. I like the square body Andis clippers. Lasting that long with just one dog to clip they should last a while. You may have to replace the blade drive over time & the hinge over time too. Since I am using mine so much I do have to replace those about every 1-3 times a yr. Also you will need to sharpen the blades once in a while, I know of a mobile sharpener. If he doesn't come to your place you can ship the blades to him, he's good.

Have a great day all!!!!

Oh!!!! I almost forgot! I got my Backyard Poultry mag yesterday, and on the front are thes really cool Buff Laced Brahmas. I looked them up on the guys website and he wants $99 per bird and it's a 12 chick minimum + shipping!! That's over $1200!

How can people charge that much? I don't get it!! I know thet are rare and they are pretty, but I would NEVER pay that much for one(or 12)!

Still here. Not feeling very brilliant- there's a lot of work I need to do but I'm getting all sort of alarm signals from my BG meter and my body warning me not to lean over, get too hot, lift too much, or stand too long.

Stupid human weaknesses.

Yep, that's it! I guess I bought DH the Wahl and got them confused. The body of the shaver is quite large, but I have large hands, so that is not an issue for me. An ergonomic grip would have been nice. I'll contact you when I need the blades sharpened, I have an address is Seattle for a repair place but I'd rather use someone who comes recommended. I am still trying to figure out what size blades to use. I like the dog to look a little fluffy, though the vet thinks I ought to keep her in a lion cut as her fur serves as velcro with all the brambles in our yard, they especially get tangled on her back half.
