I called my DH and there has been no more crowing; thank goodness! Thank you for the generous offer though!

Sorry you can't find Jake-the-dog!!! I hope he comes home soon and he's just been hanging out with a kind neighbor.

Does he have a collar and/or microchip? Hope he finds his way home soon.

We got Rosie, the indoor/outdoor cat, microchipped last week since we can't seem to keep a collar on her.

has an electronic collar on but don't know if there is any ID attached (he's DS's dog, primarily, so he's the one who manages such things)

however he is coming close to the end of his days .. no sense to microchip him now ... if we get him back I'm pulling that collar off, since we have a NEW-to-us dog coming in this weekend; one of DS's friends who can no longer keep a dog where she is living, and the interim caretaker now cannot keep the dog either .. from all reports, a friendly well-behaved German shorthair young spayed female

otherwise I have to go find a new collar which will interface with our wireless containment system

of course, new dog will be extensively trained about WHERE the yard is and where the no-dogs limit is

and if she isn't already microchipped, we'll make sure that gets done

Oh, a shorthair! I hope it's a nice old-fashioned one!

Sorry about Jake, but old dogs find the way they want to go, sometimes.
