At some point yes. I've got sooooooo much to update though it is hardly funny. I've been taking lots of photos of different things that go on here, because I know I'll add it all to the blog, but when I don't know.

I thought I'd post some updated pics I took of Audrey today....hard to believe she's almost SEVEN WEEKS old!!

I am all for original pronunciations over colloquial ones. For instance, Pierre South Dakota is pronounced "peer" instead of the french "pee-air". In Dubois, Pennsylvania they say "do boyz" instead of the french "doo bwah".

For many parts of the USA , towns, lakes, streets and parks have Native american names that were translated into french and no one is left around who spoke the original language so we often have to infer the pronunciation.


My two pet peeves are "Warshington" and "Haaalaa peen oo"

Or Loup Loup Pass--named after some French dude and should be pronounced "Loo Loo" but people here say the P so it's Loop Loop.

Really? I did not know that. I never really knew what/who it was named after/for.

oh, and BTW...the baby photos are gorgeous. You think 7 weeks went by...just wait it will seem like tomorrow and she will be 7 and then you will go and blink and she will be 17. Truly, it is that fast. enjoy every second...even when you are so mad at her because she just took all your makeup and played with it or painted the walls....or whatever.

My Mother (78 y.o.) makes a beautiful green jelly that you would swear is mint, but it is Jalapeno jelly!
It is absolutely awesome on pork cutlets or chops!!

Came home from shopping to 78 degree weather, muggy!!!!!!!
Getting dark & the turd of hurkeys was in the front pen fighting!!
Seems the oldest & youngest are both Toms (hard to tell!)
And I left all pens open to each other when I left so the birds would have room under net cover (hurkeys like to just explode straight up & fly!!)
But check out Mr Champion hurkey on display..gobbling up a storm.
I wish I could upload the song he sings!
And all the hens join in~

Auto focus often focuses on the wire....I LOVE THESE BIRDS!!!
Mr Tom Champion had the young tom by the back of the head & was simply holding his head down..no doubt the pinch hurt, but that was it.
They are un violent compared to chickens.
Anyways I seprated the 2 toms, and gave little tommie a hen, too.

I think ALL pronounciations in this Grand Ol' US of A should be FONIC!!!!!!!!! (which is not pronouced PHonic!!!
