[T Hi]

Wow! What a weekend! I worked 9 hours lastnight. Got up 1st thing this morning and got my DD's off to their fall leadership conference! Then I think that I was in sleep deprived hysteria cuz I went grocery shopping and decided to detail my car!

Now I'm home and made myself a yummy dinner of coconut shrimp & sweet potatoe fries! This Mama Duck is going to bed early tonight!!

Hey!! stop dissen on the Scovies!!!! I LOVE my scovies!! And they don't bite!! The mom's get peeved at you if you try to take thier babies!! And yes they do have a bit of an odor, but, they are not birds to have in a confined space anyway?? They are wonderful insect predators and eat things chickens won't eat!!! Jeez people!!! Chill out!!

Well Gordon was my first and only scovie.

He will remain to be the man scovie for the rest of my life. Gordon lived at Gove's Cove on Lake Union. I met him in the summer of '78, it was love at first sight. There is nothing like a girls first love........

I also LOVE the Aspens in NE WA & Idaho..they turn the most awesome bright yellow..and rattle (quake) in any breeze...I miss Idaho.........

driving back from taking DS to his facility, I was seeing all the fall-colored maples highlighted in a fiery way, by the setting sun streaming through scarlet and crimson clouds

then to have a couple of pheasants fly across the road ...
