OK Sorry no pink bandanas but we do have the pink tye dye hoodies on and if you could enlarge you would see that I am actually wearing a black with pink BCA dew rag. thats my normal and the pic was actually 9/2010

Thanks, Robin and Deirdre for sending me files to upload.

Sorry for the delay, but I was talking to the Sam, and I'm sorry but I hadn't seen him for a month, and we had talking to do- also he helped me with chickening, and cut down two pear limbs which were In The Way (also, it is his pear tree, bought for his eighth birthday) and otherwise was pleasant and sane and useful without whining or arguing, which... I could use that, you know?

I then went out to buy groceries, and purchased a small plastic pet container to use for the photographing of chickens without needing help. SO: photos tomorrow, I hope.

Well I need to make the back for a quilt. I need to get it shipped to the long arm quilter tomorrow. I'll be back later I think. I was able to change my avatar too. I have the worst problem with not being able to reduce the KBs enough to be able to upload a picture. I can get the size right, but just not the kb's.

At least things worked out this time. I don't understand why we can't use an already uploaded picture. The main up loader allows us to change the picture size at the time of upload.

great

I was going to stop by your place after dropping DS off, but I was so tired I just skipped it and went home the other way (through Tumwater)

I had forgotten to put the concrete paver mold in the car anyway

we had a small emergency, DH and DS drove the motorhome over to dump the tanks; the place was closed; and the motorhome died on the way back

I drove over to where they were and we used jumper cables on it, but there is something intermittently wrong with it, and we couldn't get it all the way home

so it's sitting in a cul de sac, and we'll attempt to retrieve it tomorrow

meanwhile I had to drive DS back to Oly to make his curfew ... I was adrenaline-d out because I freak when dealing with gasoline or jumper cables

looking forward to seeing your chick pictures, Julia

The entire month of October, every year.
To add: Every woman can get a mammogram, paid for this month only.

I highly recommend it.

ME TOO! Mine probably saved my life! That and regular self-examination! I thought I was too young to have to worry about this stuff! It's all worth it!

My mamogram is next month.I hate doing it but it has to be done! Breast cancer runs in the family!!!!

Do you have some other info on the free mammograms??
I tried looking it up, and according to the Susan G Komen website, it says that if you are over 40 OR are low income, then it's done on a sliding scale. So, for those of us under 40 and not "low income" we are s.o.l....

OK........I will tell you all what I went through..about 6 years ago:
Went for a regular pelvic & doc talked me into a mammogram.
So I went & did it..ugh!
$ days later the doc calls & wants me in his office.
I FREAKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I went, dry eyed...and he set me up for a stereo-toptic biopsy as he had found "a mass"
So I went, and they checked me in, down a corridor, outside the hospital & around back was parked a semi-trailer for radioligy.
It involved me laying down on a table on my tummy, and holes for the girls.
The radiological team is beneath, and numbs the girls in question...and then through the computer help, sets up a 3D screen of the girls.
At that time the team can "see" the mass & take a sample.
They did, and inserted a chip so's they can watch the area forvermore, from outer space.

A week later the biopsy taken was found benign...and I am still watched like a clock.
So, Tuesday I go in again to get it looked at all over again.
The computer chip inserted in the girls gives the team an exact placement of where the "place" was.........so I am on """watch"""
