Also, I forgot to say that the BA I got from Truecolor layed an egg today! I need to get the run finished; I can probably hire my cousin's kid for long enough to do it this week, I was all brokified last week- and start juggling chickens around. She's going in with the Hamburgs, I decided, when I finish Hamburg Extension University: I can tell her eggs from the Hamburgs, and if she goes broody, well, good for her! I want baby Hamburgs as soon and often as possible.
I think. Unless I decide to keep Bjorn, and put Sylvia and the BA (whose name was Ruby, but that's my dog, so we renamed her Malvina for Malvina Reynolds) with him, and Anni-Frid and Agnetha with Ian. The problem with THAT plan is it still leaves me with chickens to feed in two yards- and a chicken run outside the dog-proof fence, which displeases me. So maybe not. I dunno. I rather wish I had at least two more broodies, and a better fence. Not to mention the fect that my barn roof is a high road for raccoons, so there's that to deal with. It's all soooooooo complicated.
