Oh my - if I had trees that looked like that, I think I'd burn them.

I'm not privy to the reason they were saved- they're sitting near where a greenhouse Lacey Facilities used to use to grow landscape plants burned down, so I'm not even sure when they were moved here. They had been part of a nice piece of tree-and-boulder landscaping that was ruined when the building changed hands. They were MUCH uglier when they were sticks with puffballs!

You passed me in # of posts! When did that happen?

I think had I seen the puff-balls on posts I would have had a little party one night, gone out there with a few friends and cans of brightly colored spray paint and turned them all into truffula trees, but somehow I don't think they would make very nice thneeds.

I put photos on Facebook but, alas, I can never figure out how to post them here. You could always friend me- Cynthia Merrell Smith

And a thneed is something everyone needs...

I'm chatty. And when I'm stressed, I'm downright wordy.

(Speaking of stress: the kid is driving back to E'burg by himself, in his fiance's Altima, and the weather on the pass is... yeah, really, more of that stuff).

Happy Turkey Day to you too!

I was so hoping to go to those Monroe feed sales and load up on chicken food. I've got to be in Kirkand all day, but maybe I can sneak out in the morning and tell Karen I will be late....
