The winds are blowing so hard here now that CR's bell, which is in a very protected corner by my front door, is clanging like crazy which makes my dogs bark like crazy because they think someone is at the door!

He was helping the DS take an old sofa to the dump. He just didn't tell me where he was going.
After he got home he messed around with the phone and got it working. The phone company said it was a short. It is a little scary because DH doesn't know what he did that fixed it. I also got new batteries for the telephone handsets. It is amazing how much difference it makes. The handsets were blinking off and on. It turns out the batteries are supposed to be replaced yearly. I have had the phone handsets for several years now.

Mine goes 'missing' a lot.
Mine is often gone, but normally I have a clue as to where he is. He has be home all week. So I have been cooking more than normal.

I don't know whether it's better or worse being able to check the highway cameras, but his dad and I both were doing so every ten minutes.

Mine is smaller for sure. I think I may call the store I bought it from. I sure would like to get an all night burn. Thanks again. (and no hurt feelings
Our friends and neighbors of 20 yrs swear by jotulus stoves, they heat their house with one smaller than this and they came from Montana and that was the stove of choice there.
Soundss like you have a pretty good grip on things. I would load that stove FULL !! Also I don't want to hurt any feelings but from the info it looks like the stove you have is more for deco and not so much intended as a SOLE source of heat. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to do a good link but here is a pic of what I have.
