Is it caffeine you can't have or coffee/tea? We have "Monster" or "Rockstar", both with caffeine, tons of vitamins, and sugar free. If it's the caffeine you need to restrict, sorry, I can't help from personal experience, but have heard dark chocolate works (small amount).

Acid. It is the acid that I have to watch. Got tummy/GI problems going on.

Hey, I have dark Chocolate in the closet (my stash). Thank you.

Just had a friend FB and tell me to try ZipFizz. it is something that athletes use for after work outs and because DS is so active...happen to have some. Have never tried it. Has caffeine in it. Took it and it seems to have taken the edge off of the discomfort and I am starting to feel clearer headed.

Thank you so much for the ideas. I really need all I can get.

Clean it up?
I got needles and leaves mixed together in my gutters that is gold for your beds as is the same needles and leaves on your roof that haven't started the break down process as much.
Only difference between gutter material and roof is the gutter material is more compact which the air breaks up a bit.

Why would I take the needles, leaves, tiny branches from my beds around my house?
When you blow out gutters it doesn't go far.
One side of my house has two chicken runs that I try to blow it into also.
That way when I dig out the sand in the spring for the raised beds it has been breaking down with the poop straw etc all ready for my beds.

Only thing I clean up is before starting the blower I grab all the big branches and from top of my roof I can throw them into my fire pit from my roof.
When I'm done cleaning the roof only thing I got to do is blow off the porch and deck, then put away the equipment.

You and I got a whole different view of what makes a bed look best.
That different view only makes since if one of your jobs is landscaping.

I like a plant that is healthy cause it's receiving what it normally would get.
A healthy plant that has leaves breaking down with needles most people not looking at the bedding they are admiring the flowers or the fruit what ever it is.

I see all the perfect beds driving through sub divisions and it doesn't surprise me.
People have been programmed for a long time it is to look perfect all the time.
That is just fine. That's the USA!
Creates jobs. Sells products.

I prefer my way.
And since my neighbors and so many who walk down my street comment on how healthy my plants are I may be changing a few people's minds about the 24/7 perfect bed look because after it breaks down it looks just like others beds without the chemicals and the money spent for them.

Geez! LOL. Was referring to gutter cleaners who leave stuff in customers beds who pay me to have it look a certain way. They leave the mess for me to clean up. A lot of the gunk falls onto the plants foliage also which needs to be cleaned off. I've also seen the particles stuck on the sides of the house. I don't use chemicals. They just want it neat and tidy. Most of my customers are using compost now instead of bark for mulch since they do want healthy plants and healthy plants require more than just a little gutter gunk. There is nothing wrong with wanting debris raked out of the beds. Most customers don't have a bunch of flowering perennials to take everyones eyes off it. Usually just shrubs.

My own beds are a mess, definitely not perfect so not really a different view. Whatever works for ya. I'm sure your beds are beautiful.

Is it the caffeine or the acidity you need to avoid? There are low acid coffees on the market.

Acid.
Actually DH went on line and found some low acid coffees for me and a coffee "brewing" system that does lower acid. I am just staying off until we find out what is wrong with tummy. Have a headache, but because of the medicine and following diet given tummy is feeling better. I am hoping it is just H-pylori and they can give some antibiotics and it will go away. I hope I have not done permenant damage to my GI system.

Thank you so much for information. BYC buddies are the best.

CL, have you ever considered using some of your beautiful paintings and having them printed on notecards? I had a dear, sweet friend who I had worked with for 10 years in my art department and ended up living with us the last 5 years of her life who was a wonderful watercolor artist. She'd had a couple of her wildlife designs printed up and gave me a few but do you know, I cannot bear the idea of using them or giving them away now?

Anyone would enjoy some of your hand painted note cards of course, but if they were pre-printed and boxed maybe in assortments, they could make such lovely gifts for some of us to purchase...
(This is me just thinking how I could get my hands on some of your artwork without have to win it.) If they were available to a larger populace... I wonder what the costs would be to have them done? You've probably already looked into this, haven't you?

Actually I have, half way.
I have a few addresses forwarded from cpartist where she is selling some of her work.
I can print up my own stuff...alot has already been scanned, and all I have to do is have the Company re-format so I can get alot more little pics on a sheet than 1 big painting.
I figured a good 10 or 12 card assortment.
I have to unframe & send off the last 4 paintings to be scanned.
Giclee Prints are done digitally as you would scan & print anything..but their machines have far more pixels & use true watercolor inks.
The image can then be recorded on disc, and be re formated to any size lay up.
I have the Elk, Beach Ponies from last year & the Otters and Steelehead from the year to get scanned.
Just takes moolah & will have to waite til after the first of the year.

Most OTC pain meds have caffiene in them, for that very reason.
Try Bayer aspirin, or Ecedrine, should have caffiene.
The issue is it is a vaso-restricter, and now off coffee, your vaso's are dialated & your brain is being inundated with blood flows....

Sometimes you have to wean off slowly or suffer awful head aches.

You gotta tell him you run a landscaping biz, and get stuck cleaning up after a roofer shoots gutter crap all over the customer's beds & sidewalks.

Greg she has a landscaping business, you know, business parks & doc offices?
And roofers clean the gutter gunk out & she has to clean it up.
