sorry..... right on both occasions!! here is a VERY sad fact.... I own a chicken farm and at present have only ONE hen laying!! How pathetic is that?? My older girls are played out I guess so it's back to the ole drawing board as they say, I have a lot of nice roos waiting for girl friends, I just have to have enough money to get them!! LOL OH so the point is although I have had nothing but brown layers which I love, when my mom was here we had to go and.....dare I say it......b..u..y....eggs!!! YIKES!

You know what she said to me?? She can tell the difference between a brown egg and a white egg!!! yea.... I'm not buyin it!!! Brown eggs rule, white eggs drool!! (sorry) but to actually taste the difference??? Ok...by by nutty!! LOL

WHY?
Cuz cooking good bread in a gas oven is NIX.
A gas oven is so vented that humidity & temp is lost.
A electric oven is sealed, and gets hot & stays hot without loosing humidity that is needed for good crusty rustic bread, gluten free or other wise.

Been around the tree a few times.............and this is the way to go for what I need.

Oh, yeah: the daughter and I will do morning chores and come down sometime between noon-1-ish, although I really can't stay for more than a couple of hours for a whole lot of reasons, mostly that I'm trying to get the Hamburg extension and the chickie outside housing built and the days are SHORT. And DH can't handle the sheep. I was going to make something meat-based for the potluck, but minus a stove, that's not happening.

I was trying to get the chill off the house this morning and make rice for the chooks but even the stove-top is screwed up and I ended up with a kitchen full of smoke, ugh.

No one told me, but that does not matter, I asked that someone organize, that was about when I hurt myself. Good to see you are all going to bring stuff!!!!!
I am still standing (with NO crutches) on my shrimp & green salad!
Bought a month ago..Oysters will be bought fresh tomorrow!
And yes, I still have the table, already loaded in the van~~
We are gonna pig out!!!!!
