Same here!!! It's funny he and I had a lot of the same feelings about the ole' Navy.... it is not the same anymore!!! It's just funny how there are certain things that bring a commonality together, being in the same military service is one of them, and obviously so is raising poultry!! LOL Take care of yourself and prayers to you and yours!!!

Sorry missed you too! Maybe Monroe in the spring?

I was only there for about 2 hours, until my kids were about to kill each other, and my son stuffed himself so full at the pot-luck that he decorated his room! On our way down there I made both kids repeat what they were allowed to eat - a sandwich (we picked up bread and deli meat), veggies and TWO snacks! When I caught DD with 4 pieces of fudge on her plate she tried to say she was bringing them to me! I don't know how many she ate earlier, but she preferred the chocolate to the Peanut Butter which is unusual for her, and DS liked the peanut butter better, and he usualy does not like PB! He said his favorite food there was the ginger cookies. I think when I told him 2 snacks, he decided it meant 2 of each snack, and if he did not like one, he could substitute the second for one he liked better. He is good at reasoning like that since I did not clarify that it was a TOTAL of 2 snacks.

Well I just got the chance to say hello to you before you were whisked away and then I never got to catch up with you again. So "hello!" I know I missed a few folks I wanted to meet and didn't get to spend enough time with a few others. Guess I just get to try again in the spring! I really did have a good time - glad DH went with me even though it appeared to most that I was alone because he couldn't stand next to me for more than 30 seconds at a time.

Sorry about your DS Ogress! Hope my PB fudge wasnt the culprit responsible - it was pretty rich.

yea but it was good!!! Glad to have met you too! I won't be doing the selling thing at the Monroe show......promise!! That should give me a lot of time to catch up with my BYC friends!! And as for the group hug thing??? Don't know a THING about it!!!

Oh, what a fool I am. I have a single electric burner just sitting in my garage, unused. Perhaps we should have some sort of group "gadgets for shows" that way we would always have what we need.
