Jen think I should do a water antibiotic?
I have several.....let me go see what I have & list them & see which would be good.

OK I have NeoMed 325
(neomycin sulfate)
and
LS-50
(lincomycin-spectinomycin) mostly recommended for aircacculitis
and then there is
Duramycin (tetracycline)
I think tomorrow I will get her on the tetracycline, couldn't hurt anyways, ya think?

I have missed pages & pages of posts & hardly cannot keep up with current stuff.
I still have not had time to post show pics!
Send me a PM, that way I get it..sorry.

DH is going out of town Saturday to CA & returning on the 15th.hopefully my knee behaves.
I am walking pretty good although will take months (like 12) before it can climb stairs.
So, since I fell just before he was scheduled to leave to have a Thanksgiving with his family early (the second week of Nov) I am letting him go now.
I feel confident I am going to be just fine.

It makes me wonder what would have happened if Java Cock was at home when it happened, instead of at the show??

Much running around today: teeth cleaned, prescriptions picked up; the hired hand bought oatmeal and playbox sand while I was at the dentist. She also moved all the breakable plant containers so the stove delivery people won't have them as targets. Plus of course all of the regular stuff.

DD will be home before 7:30 and we're going out to dinner. This is good because otherwise I might not eat.

My stupid of the day was leaving a hose in the sheep's bucket while I was closing up the wyandottes: he knocked it out and soaked his pen, something it did not actually need, to say the least. He got a gallon of wood pellet bedding at the place he usually sleeps (which wasn't the wettest bit) with the sure knowledge that I'll have to pick it out of his fleece next spring, darn.

Please assume I have responded brilliantly and compassionately to all your posts: I would if I could.

I can load ya up. See last week I bought abag of feed it is now gone and 23 LF have only layed 2 doz eggs. Not enough to pay for a bag of feed. Well since I knowthe crows are young they stay and there are a couple others we know are laying. The rest got to draw straws to see who gets to go for a one way ride to town Saturday am. Unless somebody here is interested. And If you want to process them I am ok with that. Short straws this week long straws next week. If interested pm me.
I know I will probably end up getting rid of the few that are laying because I really have no way to tell. But since they are all hatchery birds coming 3 they are probably about done arent they ??

I have heard of & seen, sheep & goat keepers use stacked pallets (plywood on top) to keep the animals elevated from the wet soggy ground we have here.
Maybe that will work better for you!
