Very important lesson. When the outside temp is 24 one should NOT get distracted trying to do too many things on the computer and fail to feed the dragon. It gets cold in here real fast. Already down to 75 but I fed the dragon a little snack to hold it over until bed time and we are at 77 and climbing.

Oh yeah it's gettin more gooder now.

Most think our house is too warm. I run the stove on the lowest recommended setting and it holds at a cool 80. But it isreally nice to knowthat if / when we get really cold weather my dragon is marathoner.

Droppin' in for a short night. Cold outside, warm inside here.


Been busy lately, not in the funnest way though, and boy am I up in my knees in dog business (and not in the fun way) plus, joy oh joy, a raccoon stole the life of my only beloved Shamo hen, so, I just have a lone widow(?) male now, waiting for summer for a possible replacement female. But in a way I feel little can replace her.


Anyone, how's people? And moreso, how're the pullets and hens I sold away? The EE and the tailed Araucana especially.



My hens are FINALLY LAYING now!!!! So the family vs chickens dilemma is over!! . . . . . for now. Sorta. The new dogs took over the old rooster bachelor pad, kicked the hens out of their original big coop, and kicked the Tolbunts out of their special pen.

I agree! I would have sworn that I had 2 AM pullets. They ended up named Homer and Horace.

Horace's comb didn't get red until Homer was re-homed. Horace should delicious.
