one suggestion, Robin --- set up (nail to board or pallet?) an upside down scrub brush near or in front of every run door

yes, they make these boot-cleaners commercially but they aren't as efficient as a good solid scrub brush

excellent for getting muck off the bottoms of boots

(now me? I take my shoes OFF and go into the run barefoot -- easier to clean feet than boots)

by the way, I agree 100% about the Sorels -- the only thing that keeps my feet warm tramping around in snow up at Whistler, or back when I was ski-instructing, in my "off" hours at Ski Acres

I have a pair of Georgia Boot Mud Dogs. I don't mess with brushes. I just hose them off. Keeps the foot dip cleaner too.

Well, why won't my computer open the new page? I tried restarting my computer but it didn't help. It still wouldn't open the job application. Is it my computer or the website? It's a government website. That might explain it!

Nope, wrong symptoms- mine were more like trying to puke up the soles of my feet.

Lovely

Not the first word I'd use to describe it...

Greg does the wonderful Christmas Story, every year...love it.
We just had a 20 something year old single Mom across the street rummaging through a wood pile the road crew left there...in the dark no less.
Dogs barking like crazy, DH went to see what was going on out front.
Next thing I know, he has them up to our wood pile & is shining his flashlight to help them load wood.
Seems they had to move out of their house, and now have a woodstove heated place, and no money.
So they have come here twice to get sedan trunk loads of wood.

Foxtails up the nose......Do any of you know what Foxtails are?
Stumpfarmer is a botanist...
CCG is from CA so I know she knows........they do nasty things in a horses' nose or lips.
Anyway
One side plugs solid & feels like it has 100 psi.......the other side ok
then they switch and there is a vacuum........(sucking sound here like the drain on a bath tub) and switch.................UGH!!!!!!!!

Good news is, DH got this 2 days before me (Proof that kissing boys will give ya germs)
And then I got it.
But he is fine today....so maybe I have a day to go as well.

Foxtails? An awesome heat/arid loving grass that is soo beautiful in the spring, but awful to handle in the fall.

CCG - It's the website's fault.
