Not if you use a LIGHT DUTY sandblaster with fine media or glass spheres! Andas for the cell shapes. They will not be as pronounced when you re-wax no matter what but it doesn't matter. The bees know what to do it just helps keep them in order and make the best use of space.

Thanks CR...........what I need now is another Hive Body...I have 2 hive bodies full of frames & enough extra frames for 3 more bodies...........got to get building on that....

I got space for frames! might a trade for some frames as I have some bodies..

RedReiner, so sorry to hear about the loss of your dun Serama. Larry must be beside himself! Let me know if you want any more serama's to keep him company. I've got 5 chicks in the brooder and another 21 serama eggs in the bator from Castle Delight Serama's....due date Jan 26th! I'm also popping in some BLRW's and Marans this weekend, if anybody is interested in chicks from them, PM me. I will probably have a few extras of them as well.

thank you, I will pass on the serama, they are cool birds and I love the little pets I have but they were just that, pets. Larry gets to remain head rooster and juliette does whatever she wants. after they are gone it will only be the ORPS.

You do know that you only need 2 deep boxes per hive right. You also need Honey Supers with frames and foundation. BTW if you don't have a local source there is a place in Centralia that has supplies.

yup. I know.

That looks to me more like a cochin/silkie cross. I've had d'uccle's before, and it's shape is all wrong for that.

Looks alot like a Cochin Icelandic cross, hence the white eggs ............
