My Dad told me when I was knee high................"Girl, there is two things you must have in life...one is LAND.....without the land, you have nothing and cannot do anything...
The second thing you need is a good strong truck...without the truck, the land is not anything."
After a while you can work up to selective equipment.
But you have to have a truck.

And anyone interested...BUY LAND..it will all be gone one day.
BUY all you can...it is the greatest investment ever & always will be.

And work the land...it will feed you & others & bring you joys not very many of us get to enjoy.

And save the truck!!

Google his orchards & see he is into alot more than cherries...but Oregon Cherries are the best !!!!!!!!!

I would even get seprate insurance.

Is separate insurance possible when married? I wish for that but didn't think you could since they assume your spouse will be sharing vehicles? so they lump you into the same policy.

It all takes more Cash...lumped insurance in your case might not be good at all.
In his case, if he has a record, getting him off your policy will make your payment go down....but do not let him ever have the truck again !!
This happened to Toni, her SD a$$ truck stopped working & he never even popped the hood but took her car away....he gave her a ride to work (what a nice guy!!) and sat at home all day & picked her up when she got off work.
He ended up selling his truck to some guy...and it turned out to be a no brainer to fix it.

Chickie recommended a farm in Oregon that sells fruit and thought it would be a good choice for our local co op. So checking it out.
