Man, did I get excited and started to plot a reason to make it up there!!!! What I would do for a good, fresh Navajo Taco -- ummmmmm. Then I saw 'vegan' =:~(

Where I come from, which is really Chaco Canyon, we eat "vegans". I 'grewed-up' (sp) on the reservations (apache and mostly navajo) and we call vegetarian/vegans "Lousy Hunter"

Thanks to Chickie-dear we at least had a deer fix...... so very grateful (sending warm hugs)

k/

Awwwwwwwwwww BIG HUGS to you sweetie !!!!!!!!!!!

hey that may work great!
I was going to forward it to Cloverleaf Farms & she could send it south to you.
I have a cousin in San Diego I was considering...
The Journel is from a 5th grader in New York...his Mom came on our thread months ago & asked if anyone wanted to participate & we responded to her our names & addresses.
The journal involves entries from participants as far as where they live, age, and describe your area, history, commercial & ag businesses of your area...fun & famous things or people...and so far there is NO California entries !!
Towards June, the journal is mailed back to the classroom, where all the students can study what is in their journal.
Each person who writes in the journal mails a post card (of your area) back to the class so they can mark a map as to their journal's where abouts.
It is really awesome !

My nephew did one of those, only it was called "Flat Micheal". Each student was traced out on butcher paper, colored and mailed out. Michael traveled the world as I sent him to Australia after I got him. He had already been to Holland. Each person had to include a letter and a photo of them with "Flat Michael". We put him on a swingset in the backyard, took him hiking to see Snoqualmie Falls, and he tried to play Monopoly!

That is so cool!
This kind of like that but is into who, where & what in your area is commercialy grown, geographically...in your area.
This is a geography journal.

I think I posted my most recent pics here a bit ago, but here he is:

I just realized, looking at that picture from about two weeks ago, that his fleece is growing a lot- I suspect his moss-enhanced diet is giving him a little more protein.

I want his fleece !!!!!!!!!!!!!
