Thats one thing that always bugged me about some parents. You are driving down the road and pull up next to a nice car and all windows are up and kids are all lined up on the back seat and there is a cloud of smoke and mom is smoking and no vetelation. SELFISH! I never somked with or around anyone who did not want me to. I quit the day my eldest was born and felt guilty all my life about smoking while pregnant. My family is smoke and alcohol free except a drink maybe 5 times a month and hubby will have a cigar now and again. RESPECT to me is what its about and no one wants to smell it.

The law is about smoking in cars with children present. Second hand smoke in a small, enclosed space can't be good for them. If someone wants to risk their own health, that's their business, but the health of others is not.
