LOL... Actually, blocking someone means you can't see THEM, but they can still see you. ;) That way, if someone's posts always annoy you, you never have to see them.
Anybody tried this yet?? Maybe that's why so quiet here.

Well, I am still trying to get caught up. I have "subscribed" but yet I never get a notice of new messages. I have not had time to play with this at all. Very-very cold here. I hear you guys are suppose to get snow. All 3 of my "guys" are over there. Teenage boys are wrestling in Marysville tomorrow and DH went to watch. I had to stay to take care of DD and critters. Gotta work Monday so I don't have the third day off. Hope they do well tomorrow - I know they will. Just worry about them coming home tomorrow night over the pass.

final info on tummy: "non-ulcerative dysplasia". Meaning....I have all the ulcer symptoms...but no ulcer. I just have to watch what I eat and not get stressed. Stay on the medicine. Seems to be doing okay for now.

Well, I will keep reading and try to get caught up. I may or may not. Plus I need to figure out the new BYC...really haven't had time to try and figure it out.

oh, middle (152 lb bracket) son's wrestling "status" right now is 16-1...oldest boy's (heavy wt - 285 lbs) is something around 6-1 (not sure of the exacts). Very proud of them. Oldest started later in season because of bad grades...but seems to be doing okay for now.

Hope they do well and have a safe trip back home.

I was over on the feedback forum and learned some new things, I started having trouble putting a picture in my post and in the end it would not let me load one at all! someone finally said if you go to the account details editor and switch from Rich text editor to BBCode you can use your right click copy and paste and it will also allow you to embed a picture using the embed button at bottom right of the photo . you can find the button when you open the picture. although I still have to open another window to open my albums so I dont lose my post here in the reply box. work arounds for some small things yaaay!!

Magnificent - and love the iridescence on the feathers. Absolutely gorgeous!

OMG - they are SOOOOOO adorable!!! I have chick envy!!!

I'm headed to bed, peeps -- this nasty virus has me feeling punk -- dizzy, feverish, drippy nose, gunky ears, sore throat, and a cough that won't quit

apparently DS contracted it at work, gave it to DH, then I got it

I'm making sure the chickens get the chlorine solution in their water, even though everyone tells me that it's rare that chickens and humans get the same "bugs"

they seem to be doing fine so far even with the cold temperatures; of course their coop is only 42 inches cubed, and they all snuggle together on the one roost that spans that 42 inches, with the ventilation grilles set up so the warmest air at the top of the coop, can't easily escape (I open up the human=access drop down door, which basically opens up the upper half of one side, when they are out free ranging)

I've collected some of the materials we will need to build their coop over at Julia's but no way am I going to do any construction until I feel a lot better

(I probably need to see if there are any items on Craigslist which will shorten the build-time or work as adaptations -- I do have some chainlink fence material which could work as a run underlayment, so the possums, coons, and coyotes couldn't dig them out, nor the chickens dig themselves out)

edited to correct spelling error
