OMG!! that is too funny! Isn't it crazy how they can edit the barks to make it sound like a song?? CRAZY!! I love it tho!!!
So on flat ground in the middle of my driveway I have 12" of snow give or take a cm... I have the ony vehicle out of my neighborhood that wi make it out of our driveway. So ive been running errands for 5 diferent housholds. Mainly trips to the store, picking up stranded people, ect... Im done, sore, tired, and just want to curl up and sleep. But oh no! Theres still snow on the ground and I have a VERY energetic 3 year old.
I slipped and fell pretty hard last night, and now I hurt. Ive been trying to take it easy but it hasnt worked.
The birds are all fine, they refuse to drink the warm water I took out to them, instead they are eating the snow... They only want to come out of the coop when I have treats for them. Mainy sunfower seeds, some alfalfa, warm oatmeal, and few days old whole wheat bread... Spoilt birds.
Our power has been flickering all day, probaby from the ice on the lines., But it remains on.
Im not looking forward to tomorrow morning. My DH has to work, and that means I get to drive him. Yeay. So long as it doesnt start with the freezing rain crud I will be fine. Would rather drive on compacted snow than compacted snow covered in a layer of ice.

Ok power has been flickering on & off 30 seconds to a half hour all day
Having a hard time all the way around and still have 12" snow covered with ice.........but good news temps are fluttering at 32 to 47 all day but bad news is the 4 1/2" of rain we are get in the next 36 hrs, mainly starting Fri night into Sat night...IN 12 HOURS!!!!!!!!
Of course it will flood the low land.....so even now power is flickering I was just talking to CR & his power went off.
So CR has no power....but he does have a generator & he will be fine with the extra trailer he has.
Could ot believe the electrical charge that came through my cell to his land line when it happened.....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
& we said good bye.
Hugs go out to all those still stranded & without power or shivering in this cold.
Especially Zgoatlady & family.
And redrooster Anna's family..and she has lost many chicks I hear...

Oh, bummer...wish I were closer and could help. I am so-so sorry RR.
Zgoatlady texted me today & my phone beeped but I do not TEXT, SO I forwarded the # to CR as I do not text, and hopefully he can get Zgoat & red rooster together .but I know Zgoat has a %$##^^$ pellet stove !
So they are freezin as well as Red rooster..............None of this is funny in the slightest.
So far, my parents (in their 80s) are OK, their phone (a land line) went on & off all day but they never lost power (so far)
Next issue is the 4 1/2" of rain we are to get from Morn Fri to Sat late.
24 hours and 4 1/2 "............sounds like Hawaii...plus the 16" of snow we still have.....we will be very glad we have a BOAT (cover caved in with snw now)
So far we are OK, running low on propane, but OK.

You can't get here.
We can't get to town.
No one can get to eqach other to help....none of us can go anywhere to help anyone.
The best we can do is be prepared in the first place, and we are, but some are not.
