Never met a family yet that didn't have disagreements from time to time.

As long as those disagreements are discussed in a civil way like last night then it can only make the community more healthy going forward.

How exciting for you! I know there are a couple of people here that raise very nice Orpingtons - very pretty, big fluffy butts

Actually kinda' exciting as we are going to pick up a few Eng. Orp eggs as for our anniversary (and valentine's) I wanted to get Dear Hubby his Orpingtons. I have a couple of settings of Exhibition-bred Orps in the incubators now but the big fluffy English butts are special. I hope he gets the show bug.

On Sunday is the PNPA meeting and hopefully a guest speaker. If there is a chance at a speaker "giving" of his time I would really like to see a good turn out by giving him my time and attention =:~)

And THEN I would like to get a whole bunch of youngsters out of my bathroom and computer room!!! Such a good idea but need better weather.

pps Thanks to CL I did get the Chrome installed but I think the memory deficiency is gonna be a bugger until I can afford to add more

my mama told me that it's prudent not to get onto the subjects of sex, politics, or religion, if we wanted to keep the conversation friendly; I am sure we all have our own beliefs, probably all think we are RIGHT, but as several have said, we need to honor and respect everyone else's beliefs even if we don't agree with them.

I totally agree with this and believe these topics should be saved for thoughtful discussions with close friends.

I brooded my Maui chicks on lots and lots of pulled-up weeds and weedy grass, they loved it, and there wasn't much dust
my Yelm chicks got an adult incontinence pad on the bottom, covered by fallen fir branches, and there again, not much dust (I had tried them out on commercial chips but they kept eating those, and those WERE dusty
now I get to sit on my hands and hope that the broody hen STAYS broody; we slipped six blue-green EE eggs under her on Tuesday and so far so good.

I do hope your girl stays broody! Wanted to tell you also - our little Camo (one of your grandchicks) was in the coop checking out the nestboxes. There was one egg that might have been hers from a few days ago - a very light blue that we haven't seen before here. (Although I was expecting a khaki or olive?) Keeping an eye out - will let you know =)

Help, I went brain dead. I had a wonderful gal come out yesterday for some eggs and a few chicks. She is on BYC lives in Gigharbor. I deleted her email and info because I got a new phone and didnt know what I was doing. I cant even remember her name right now might be Linda? Im so bad! Anyone know whos in Gig Harbor? Or if you see this post please contact me. I found another chick in the mix that is a lemon and you can have it if you are in the area? Anna

I deleted her email and info because I got a new phone and didnt know what I was doing. I cant even remember her name right now might be Linda? Im so bad! Anyone know whos in Gig Harbor? Well, another rough night with painful joints & hip/shoulder...windy bad here...dog barking all night & this crummy mattress is killing me.
Sorry, I am very cranky & tired to the point of heart palpatations.

Getting outta here early as we are taking a cabinet incubator to Seattle to RainWolf....she starts work at 1 PM so we gotta get on the road.
Then off to IKEA to get a new bed.
If we had room, we could use out big new mattress, but cannot in this tiny place...have what is kinda like a foam camper-trailer style mattress going on 6 years old & squished down hard in the middle like a volcanic crater,
LOL !!!

Seriously pettec63 maybe a new memory foam would help that hip/back problem !!!

Well, dragging my bones outta here & onto the freeway, and such a great day for a drive

Storming here guys !!!!!!!!!

I was gonna sneek up on T-Hi & Teresa on the way home but may not be able to swing that far East...we'll see.
I am a zombie from lack of sleep.
