The add says light brown eggs. They are beautiful. Similar to the Cream Legbar but Legbars lay blue eggs. Legbars are auto sexing too! Once the market is saturated and I can afford them I'm going to get me some.
I wish there was egg photos, I was thinking they may be from penescenda (sp?) bloodlines & lay dark brown eggs.
But I will not ask...I know I am too tempted to buy

And need to thin & sell what I have.
Spring is on it's way, and we will start building soon.
We have several wonderful Mexican families that will help in the build.
they stop by regularly...buy cockerals , meat birds & eggs.
They are more anxious for our build to start than we are.
Well maybe,
I myself am very tired of camping........................

I'll try to "splain". You undo the bent over looped wire at the top and bottom of the link that is pressing on the critter. Once undone you can rotate the link up through the top. You would only need to go far enough to unwind just to the critter. Hopfully there is not too much tension on the fence to be able to loop it back in place easily. If I were you I'd try it. Liquid critters are nasty. But, ya, tug o war should work. He managed to get in there and pulling isn't going to hurt him any!
There is a way to dis assemble that fence just enough to get the critter out but Way too hard for me to splain. Easiest way I know is play Tug "O"War !

Ogress, I like Rasberry too! Do you remember if I said they might be splits Mille/Black Mottled? He looks like a split and if he is his coloring is nice. He could use some more tail fluff but he has a nice short back. I'm thinking I might be able to use him on some really typey split hens I have.

Im thinking about getting a few eggs her in the next month for Cream Legbars. I know in all rights I just need to walk away but Id like a blue layer that will lay. The only think that worries me is the Rooster doesnt look like its a nice boy to people and if thats so I wont have them, unless I make a pen and coop... So still on the fence...

Was he 'semintal' or whatever those big red cattle are called ?
I need to call sister tomorrow after ground pork, still need butt roasts (parents want a few also) and need another 10# GB...Incidentally, 6 Lyda Rose starts in rock wool look really good !
I know CCG wanted one (or more?) and Hallerlake ?
Who else asked for Lyda Rose starts ?
I also have 6 Camelia tree starts looking pretty good, all heated from beneath in the hot frame............
Anyone interested please PM me as I have not made a list.
I also have 6 curly willow starts in 1 gallon pots, about 5 foot tall...and roots are coming out and they are free !
All of the starts are free, just let me know...;)

The breed name is Shorthorn. It's an English breed from the Durham area. Simentals are a continental breed, from the Alps.

I'm only getting replacement fruit trees this year- I have to get a big Yellow Transparent for pollinization.

Who has eggs?

Much to do today if the rain holds out. Coops to clean, Cornish's going outside (thank goodness) and some planting to get done. I hope everyone has a wonderful sunday.
