What may happen ?
Will they get a toxic reaction (sepcis, blood toxin) or a gastro reaction like scours ?

No, I didn't do a Craigslist - I have a clientele (Fancy!) and one guy bought a dozen last week, and wants a dozen more. Not sure I"m going to let him have them, may hatch them myself!

Peoples are buying hens too - I have a waiting list for pullets, but not sure I want to sell anymore. I got rid of the ones I didn't like. EXCEPT for one, and I'm having a hard time catching her, wily girl!

Try classifieds here on BYC ?
You'd have to keep them penned & "pure" I do not remember if you have any other breed cockerels out there....but I do recall you've only 1 breed laying white eggs (Smart woman !!)

I don't have a step by step. I looked through all the BYC home made incubators in the learning center. And then just started to experiment.
I would check out them out and decide what kind of temp regulator and heat source you want. That was my first step.
I can get with you more later if you can get your DH on board.
We are headed out to take a DD out for a past due birthday dinner!
So glad a lot of restaurants have some GF dishes.
Yeah, that was some more recent good news for me. I am allergic to wheat gluten, all dairy, and cane sugar! Oh and cranberries, almonds, beets, mushrooms, and sesame seeds.
Thank God I am not allergic to TOMATOES! I don't think I could live without tomatoes!!! The other stuff I am learning to cut out but no tomatoes would do me in for sure!
Till later y'all!

I really want more detail on this. Did you do a step by step page on this? Or maybe saw something on Youtube? I would love to bookmark and go back and look. I have a 4' upright freezer that just died and this would be a neat project....just have to get the DH to think how "neat" it would be too.
