What may happen ?
Will they get a toxic reaction (sepcis, blood toxin) or a gastro reaction like scours ?

Will found them out eating moldy hay this morning when he went to feed. It can kill them if they get enough mold. Will

crossed for days now...

Had a bail of hay set aside because of the mold and of course that's what they went for. I hope that 17 goats to one bail that they didn't get enough in the gut to do harm..
jThey can get POLIO OR LISTERIOSIS from it

LOL Stupid Eagle!!!

Just about 15 minutes ago my house shook! I heard the girls freaking out, so I went outside just in time to see them heading for cover under the bushes. I looked up just in time to see a very stunned eagle make a sad attempt at taking off from my roof! There are feathers under the eve to my roof, so Im guessing it went after the girls miscalculated, hit the overhang on my roof, and stunned itself!

Eagle 0, My house 1!

And now I have a nice bunch of eagle flight feathers, what looks like head/neck feathers, and maby one tail feather! Yes I realize Im not supposed to have them. But what am I supposed to do? Give them back to the eagle? LOL

Stupid dazed scavenger.

And yes, all my girls are accounted for.

Okay, CR, no using a backloader to cram stuff into the back of my pretty F150. It does have scratches in the bed from things being in it...but it is a truck...but it is still pretty too. I am nice to it and it is nice to me. LOL.

Okay, Broodytood: Can you believe this. DH is on board. Not only is on board he thought it would be interesting and said the freezer could actually just stay where it is now. Um, personally I think he said this so he would not have to move it. So here is what I will be working with:


The stuff is in it so it does not smell. It has been unplugged for some time.

Okay problms with where the pictures post again. So here is the outside...yes all the "artwork" will have to come off. It measures 51 tall x 24 wide. Probably 24 deep also. I think it would make a great incubator. Mind you I could probably doo 100 eggs it it. LOL. but hey DH is on board. Nothing we are going to complete in the next week....but I want to start planning and I am looking on BYC for plans. Thank you broody tood. I want mine to look as nice as yours. I don't like all the loose wire that some have - strewn all over - and I want the window like you have.

You may have a little issue if you want to change where the shelves are.

She could have more shelves, just build them and put on the one's she has. That doesnt make since does it..But it does to me...
