It was being used as an egg fridge. As far as I know it still works fine. I will have to check it out. What do ya have for trading stock. Sorry I don't accept in-laws, out-laws or ex-laws.

Yes it does CR. We like you over there. 43° huh? That's what we had here, and now tonite its calling for freezing rain. Oh the joy. I start all my seeds inside... In plantable pots that are bigger than they need to be so I can keep them under the plant lamps longer if I need... I am getting itchy fingers though.

Geeze, been hovering at 55 here, when the clouds part gets to 66....but we are in the coastal fog.....and right now it is droplets raining from heavy fog...........heavy heavy fog !

k thanks guys for your help. I am trying to figure out if I want one BIG coop divided into pens or if I want a few smaller coops. Ideally I want about 25 - 30 hens. With maybe 3 or 4 Roos. I do want a few different breeds as well. So many choices... UGH

I think I can just cut those that are in there out and/or can put shelves in as I need them. But good point.

Look at RedRooster Farms housing & pens.
But really it matters if ya want LF or Bantam breeds........... but RRF has a great set up.
I have several coops, divided, with pen/runs on each side to contain breeds. Also allows them free range.
When you decide what you want, let us know & maybe we can help on pointers.
Fair warning: You will change your mind, ALOT as pettec63 & I know !!

Alright guys, time to pick your brians again. How big is your chicken coop and how many chickens do you have?

Which one ?????????????? I have five right now.............each has a different breed.
What you need to do is calculate what YOU WANT and then build it.............but I am warning you...it will get bigger than you think, htching, brooding...flock replacers, it goes on~~~~
