My ball is still sticky...and I cannot get the bottom deilybob to unscrew to get the ball out

And I told DH but he forgot & is now somewhere outside building a carport or something...so had to answer PMs & Qs about egg sales, etc & say HOWDY WA PEEPS !!!!!!!!!!!!

If I do not get on here everyday & post, CR will pass me by in numbers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys! Audrey's napping....DH & I went out to breakfast--left Audrey with the grandparents...then we went to Wal-Mart and got a few things and DH is convinced that Audrey needs a "Gator" (Power Wheels).

Although it does have a dump bed on it (that works) so she could clean her out coop! LOL

Thanks for all of the e-mails regarding my birds...I think I have the incubator and the Crevecoeur flock sold...as well as my bantam Houdan. I am still needing to part with a pair of Golden Laced Cochins and the mille fleur bantams as well as the Sussex. I'm hoping someone will buy them at the show, if they're not "pre-sold" first.

Other than that--my in-laws are thinking about getting back into cattle but they're set on the Scottish Highlands--anyone know anything about them???

Clear here, some rain/sleet overnight but nothing since I awoke at 4am to brilliant stars, crushing leg pain, and a BG of 70mg/dl. I am pretending that acetomoniphen and carbs were sufficient to correct those errors, got a couple of more hours sleep, and all I have to do todayis figure out how to cope with the fact that Tertia (bearded silver EE) has started laying mid-olive drab eggs in the (editorial comment withheld) bathroom.

My friend-since-preschool's daughter deputed her son and two lovely late-teenaged grandsons to my house yesterday and even without a chainsaw they safely took the horrible widowmaker out from over my gate and the big complicated heavy apple snowbreak off the fence that's the last thing between cows and road. They also moved the oiltank stand from down by the truck to up in the west yard, and after looking at it I decided that a modified barrel-style garbage can is going to make a fine coop box, with a plywood-and-asphalt shingle roof to keep the cold out. So I may get the two elsest EE hens out by Tuesday, maybe, barring snow, calving disasters, and other items of horror.

I keep smacking up against my limits of mind and body, they get smaller every day, hard to piffle on about chickes when I am so very full of fail.

if Tertia is laying olive drab eggs, she most likely is Becky's daughter -- LOL --- unless Roopert is carrying medium-brown-coating gene (always a possibility)
Becky's eggs are the bluest underneath the coating -- the others are more pastel blue (except for Ginger's of course)

really glad though, that the widowmaker and other intrusive branches were safely removed

Thank You! I drilled 2 -1/2 holes, one on each side and pushed a small piece of pvc through, (so the liner doesn't block it)... we'll see how it works!

You could go on a WEEKS vacation and CR could stay up ALL night, and post and he still wouldn't catch chatty cathy. I mean chickielady

Imp must have taken my advice and went since we haven't seen hide nor hair since this morning.

I Forgot to mention that after 26 years and 11 months and 10 days the DD FINALLY move OUT on her own !!!!

BUT its only a little one bedroom and I don't see the DW suitcases packed so I guess shes NOT going with her

So with the DD gone !! that brings up a little problem. "What to do with her bedroom???" See, her bedroom was an old 10 ft X 23ft lean-to on the back of the garage. My best friend and I turned it into a real cute little bedroom. The DW wants to keep it as a spare bedroom.

I WANT to turn it into a CHICKEN coop

just think how many MORE chickens I could get ????????? 30 maybe even 40

Now being the understanding and reasonable guy that I am.... I told the DW I would put a bed in the corner of the coop

she said NO WAY

I mean come on, Its NOT like I was going to put it right under the roost

the only one that would use the spare bed would be her twin sis and her hubby

In all my excitment I forgot to mention that the DW has agreed to give up her ducks

So if anyone would like two FREE three year old male magpie ducks... they are yours.

I will even throw in a Free bottle of BBQ sause
